Where in wdw or universal studios for that matter can you get the best, the most authentic and exquisite eggs Benedict ?

Eggs Benedict is one of those things, it can be good, great or just plain disappointing

I've a lover of a good quality eggs Benedict, surely I'm not alone

I prefer when's it's served atop foccacia with quality ham and freshly made sauce though I'm not sure I'll get the fresh made sauce but as long as it tastes good it's doesn't matter so much

Cheers

I can't tell you where to get the best, but I can tell you about a couple of things to avoid.

First off, very few places we've been to offer a traditional eggs benedict.

Back in December, we ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe and I ordered the bbq benedict. The smoked brisket was awesome, but the hollandaise was horrible. It tasted like it came from a powdered sauce mix.

We also have eated breakfast at 1900PF twice and they offer a lobster benedict. Once again, the sauce tasted like a powdered mix.

I've read decent reviews on the benedict offerings at The Wave- so you might want to try that.

I have had a great Eggs Benedict at the GF cafe (Breakfast Menu).

Kona has a good eggs ben. You have to ask for it since it's no longer on the menu. They also have the Samoan which is a mixture of pulled pork, potatoes and english muffin with poached eggs, topped with hollandaise and watercress in a citrus vinegrette. I love it!

I love the Samoan at Kona, and would second the love for The Wave's eggs benedict (although if you want it fresh, order off the menu, do NOT get it from the buffet, obviously). The Wave's is very traditional (english muffin, canadian bacon, poached eggs, hollandaise, although it is key lime based rather than lemon based). Have also heard good things about the GF Cafe version, but never tried it myself.

I tried the Wave version because I saw them bring it onto the buffet, and it was very tasty and fresh. The key lime gave it a really interesting flavor. The egg was a little overcooked for my taste, but it was fine.

Capts Grill at the YC...it was your basic traditional eggs benny with one exception...it was served with proscuitto instead of canadian bacon...it was amazing!

GFCafe is the second best I have had at WDW

I was just wondering the same thing so glad i came across this thread. We already have ressies at GF cafe i made to try them there. hope its a good choice.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I eat the buffet version all the time (and love it!), but my brother, the egg snob, has informed me that it's simply criminal to eat their version off the buffet LOL. I eat the Wave buffet at least twice a month mmm mmm mmmmmmm.:cool1:
