How wonderful!! I just stayed in a cat 7 recently and the view at night is magical. The sparkling stars, the smoke from the stack drifting down over the azure blue sea- it is incredible. Savor every moment. Celebrate life. And take time to pamper yourself as well. You deserve it. Congratulations and Bon Voyage!!!

Thank you to every single one of you for all of your warm thoughts. It truly is a time to celebrate. This young man has been one heck of a trooper and I couldn't think of ANY better way to show him how much he means to me and to thank him for never giving up. The doctors pretty much wrote him off, and the strength and determination this kid showed was way beyond anything I could or would have ever had the courage to do. You are all wonderful for the prayers and all the help you have given to me on the DIS boards. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

wow!!! What an amazing story. I can't imagine how hard all of this ordeal has been for you. As a mother I know we wish we could take all of our children's hardships and endure them ourselves. Your son is one tough cookie....he deserves all of our admiration for battling such a big monster of a disease. You guys have each other and that's all that counts.

Kind of makes you stop complaining about your own little problems when you hear about this....goes to say when you're lucky enough to be healthy, you're the richest person. Enjoy that vacation, you will probably savor every little moment much more because of this. Thank you for sharing this with us. I will thank the heavens for my 2 healthy kids tonight....
