The best Chocolate?

Anyone heard of Callebaut chocolate? Someone who thought they know best told me this is the best chocolate, yet it's not mentioned here on this poll.

Never heard of Callebaut either! I guess I need to get out more!

I have to vote for Callebaut. We went to their shop in Calgary last summer and absolutely devoured their chocolates.

Also love the Scharffenberger chocolates. They offer tours here at the plant in Berkeley. They also have a Cafe Cacao next door, where you can have chocolate-laden dishes from appetizers to drinks to desserts. They also sell really expensive Cacao perfume for over $100 a bottle. They don't have samples of it at their gift shop.

Also love Ghirardelli, like their holiday special, "Peppermint bark."

Also love dark chocolate Dove.

In short, I love me some chocolate.

It looks like I have to try some Lindt chocolate! Never heard of it but it most be good if so many people pick it as their favorite. I voted for cadbury but wouldn't pass up any of the chocolates mentioned!!

Toss up for me between Cadbury and Godiva--but though I love Godiva--i can't have it all the time...and Cadbury--I just love hitting the UK in EPCOT to get some candy bars!

Oh how I LOVE chocolate! I love most chocolates but if I had to choose I guess it would be Godiva. Of the ones listed, I've actually never heard of See's and I have not tried Girardelli yet.

I love Godiva's chocolate hazelnut hearts and I LOVE Lindt's chocolate hazelnut candybar with a wafer in the middle; they are both to die for!

Cadbury and Hershey's are both quite yummy too! I just love all chocolate!

Speaking of chocolate I also LOVE Nutella!!! I love finding recipes with Nutella in them!

If you're ever in Fishkill or Beacon, NY, you have to go to the Alps Sweet Shop

I honestly am not a big fan of chocolate with the exception of this shop. It's the creamiest, smoothest chocolate that you'll ever find. I often give it as a gift and everyone is always amazed at how good it is.

I chose See's - DH2B and I were just talking about this last night as we picked some up for Christmas. I LOVE the Bordeaux bars, I'm addicted to them!

I also love Cadbury & Dove (only milk chocolate for me though)!

ok here is my 2 cents worth.........My absolute favorite is a Marsatta bar hands down. I'm so happy to have received one in my stocking this year. It was awesome!
A friend of mine brought it up from Los Angeles. The package has a Redondo Beach, CA address on it.

I work near a Coffee Shop that also sells some great chocolate. I really enjoy the caramel bars. You can't beat caramel with macadamia nuts in it!
Marzipan is another one of my favourites.

But I'm not too picky. if there's chocolate, milk, dark or white I will eat it!

Asher's makes the best chocolate covered pretzels.

When I go down the shore, I always have to stop in Douglas's on Wildwood's boardwalk. They have the best cashew patties.

Hmmm...let's see...for milk chocolate, Cadbury and Lindt. I used to go to EPCOT just to get the Cadbury Flake bars, but now I can get them at Publix.

Dark chocolate is tougher...I like Dove.

For exotics...Dagoba organic chocolate. They have bars with chai spices, lime, mint, chilis, lavender...they're fabulous!!!!
