The Best Burger on Property

We recently stayed at the Island Tower at the Poly and tried The Wayfinder burger at the Wailulu lounge. I thought it was great. Had it twice actually! Once with the mac salad and once with the sweet potato fries. I mobile ordered both times and took them to the room. They traveled well both times! (playoff baseball was on)! Much better than the burger at Steakhouse71 IMO.

So far, still the Bison Burger at Geyser Point. I haven't tried the Wayfinder burger at Wailulu, but the Bison Burger was still one I would get multiple times.
I'm with you. Just had the Bison Burger a couple of days ago.

I have had the Wayfinder Burger and it is really good too. Just not as good as the Bison Burger.

Two weeks ago my DD, DIL and SO all had the burger from Three Bridges. We mobile ordered and ate in our rooms. They all loved it. I has a bite and it was very good.

I’ve had SH71 and Deluxe burger and enjoyed both. I’ve never had Geyser Poinf but will try it one day.

Two Days = Two Burgers:
Yesterday (11/3) I stopped at the Dolphin Fountain for their Smash Burger. Today (11/4) I got the Bison Burger at Geyser Point.

Full disclosure: I don't do lettuce/tomatoe/sauce on my burgers so they may look a bit plain to you. I should also note that the smash burger from the Dolphin Fountain does not have bacon while the Bison Burger does.

Liked the fries at Geyser point slightly better than the Dolphin ones. The Chocolate shake at the Dolphin was really, really good.

I don’t do tomatoes but the other stuff on the bison burger helps to balance it out in my opinion.

For me, a good smash burger can stand on its own with meat, cheese, and bun. I do enjoy pickles and/or grilled onions à la Oklahoma style.

So which burger was better??

For me it's the Bison Burger. Really, really good. Add to it the nice atmosphere as you gaze out over the water and perhaps catch the geyser going off.

I'm a little picky on burger toppings myself - sometimes lettuce is OK depending on the burger, never tomatoes or pickles or mustard. I do like grilled onions, and raw onions OK too if they're finely diced/chopped. Ketchup and mayo both OK. Bacon is great though sometimes I'm not in the mood for it if the meat is really high quality, I'd rather just taste the meat. Most other toppings aren't my thing - salsas, BBQ sauces, ranch dressings, blue cheese, hot sauce, eggs, etc.

I think Fountain and Geyser's burgers are in different categories - both good. Fountain is a classic diner/soda shop burger - not trying to be fancy, just melty and tasty. The Bison burger is more gourmet burger like you'd expect from a restaurant - higher quality and thicker beef, cooked to order, fancier bun, etc. I like both types, just depends on mood and situation...I tend to do something like the Bison as a dinner or full lunch - the Fountain's burger is for a quick lunch or even on the go - I have taken them back to my room at Boardwalk sometimes to eat in my room.
