Complete the following two sentences:

The BEST WDW advice I've ever received is.....

The WORST (or to be kinder, "MISGUIDED") WDW advice I've ever received is...

For me, the Best was being urged to take the mid-day nap. That works whether you're 2, 42 or 102. We use that every time and we do notice we kind of get two days of Disney touring in one.

The Worst? Actually I've never really received BAD Disney advice, especially from the wise people on these boards.

Just wondering...

The BEST advice received from DIS members was to stay

POLYNESIAN LAGOON VIEW CONCIERGE !!:)

Going back in a couple weeks! Surprise trip for the family(if I can keep it that way!)

The "misguided" advice would come in the form of misuse of FASTPASS tickets or over-indulgence in the concierge lounge!
(never took THAT advice!)

Best advice was to always stay on property and to take afternoon breaks! :)

Best advise was to make PS's for anything important to DS asap

Never had bad advise- It's Disney!

Best advice was since we planned to make Disney our vacation spot, to buy DVC. Excellent choice!

The worst advice was our first transportation choice from MCO to on property lodging. Mears.....anything else be said!

Best advice:

From a CM who suggested we try the Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge on our honemoon. Such fantastic food and wine, great memory.

Worst advice (a tie):

First was being told to make sure the CM/hostess at the Rose and Crown knew we wanted a good outside table for Illuminations. We arrived just behind another party and witnessed this guy giving her a really bad time about being seated in an optimal location. She looked kind of frazzled by the time we got to the desk, so we said that we'd be happy anywhere she wanted to seat us. She smiled, asked us to wait a few minutes, then gave us a great location on the deck.

Second advice came from a bus driver at the Ft. Wilderness campground. We were on our way to Pleasure Island, and he told us that the best way home was to board a bus to the Wilderness Lodge (which would eventually go to the campground), but BE SURE NOT to tell the driver that we were going to the campground. We boarded the Lodge bus, the driver asked us if we were headed to the Lodge, and we dutifully said "yes." Meanwhile, everyone else proceeded to empty the bus and we were the last ones left. When we didn't get off at the Lodge, the driver looked at us funny. WE broke down and told her the truth, she laughed and said we didn't have to lie anymore.
