The Beetles!

And I'm not talking about Paul, George, Ringo or John either!
Came home today to find a hundred or so of those ladybug type things. They may look cute like a lady bug but these suckers bite!
I read that you are suppose to squish them cause they'll stink up the place. So I pulled out the vacuum cleaner and sucked them up. Any that were still alive I let loose outside.

Anyone else having this invasion?

I remember a problem with those same ladybugs last year (also in Ohio). I'll have to ask my sister. Her house was covered with them last year.

Last year we had the ladybug problem. They were stuck all over everything. It was like some crazy B-movie. Now all of a sudden we have giant mosquitoes all over the place. They are so gross. I walk the dog and they just fly right in your face. For this reason I wish the colder weather would get here and kill 'em all.

Oh my, yes, indeedee! Last weekend they were so thick, it looked like a flying fog! Between those, the boxelder bugs and half dead wasps, it was quite the weekend! And those beetles, once they get in the house, they seem to be there all winter long. Our vacuum cleaner and dustbuster are in for a lot of use again this year!

Ugh, those beetles are disgusting! They're all over the front of our house, it's so bad that we can't use the front door. The last thing I want to do is disturb them by opening the door, I'll have a house full of those pests!
They can't go away soon enough for my liking!
