Zzub - I read last night. Finally

Excellent pre-trip! You are such an eloquent writer and really enjoyed reading.

But this was not that day.

The technician started moving the ultrasound wand around and almost immediately we could see the baby.

And his heart was beating!

Blood was clearly coursing through his tiny heart. And he was jumping around inside.

I pointed at the screen, and I think I yelled, “There he is! His heart is beating!”

Zzub, I don't know you but I've read all your trip reports. And you remain the only TR writer who can make me cry. How wonderful that it's tears of joy now! So just know that a stranger in Tennessee is rejoicing for you.

Zzub, we had a summer of discontent as well, well, a year of discontent really, though different circumstances. I was scratching my head about listening for a heartbeat so early. Talk about anxiety provoking! But now you know, and that has got to be a huge relief. I'll add my as well: Zzub is back with a TR and an expectant wife!

Oh, and we are still laughing about the famed register journal at our house. I can't believe that Susiehelpershoes showed up on page one of this trip - the lady gets around.

Thank you for a wonderful start to what I expect to be another wonderful trip report. I love your writing, I get to laugh, cry and snack while sitting in the dark while my family sleeps. What could be better than that?

I could have been on page 5! just after the I know you know that I know all started but needed to stop the tears and get a hold of myself. Like so many others out there, I share your pain and I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers will include you and your family. Congrats on the new beginning and I wish your wife peace and hope for your child to be.

we, too, have some babies in heaven waiting for us to hold them one day... our "wdw souvie" went to heaven in march just like samuel and methinks they're singing along to "Jesus loves me" together or some such...

i'm looking forward to your newest trippie... hope your wife was able to find all the red meat she craved and you all enjoyed your vacation...

1st - I hope the Mrs. continues craving red meat. Big, juicy filets, that cost a bundle. Veggies are just to cheap. Meat is the ticket.

SO relieved to read you saw your little-ist mini-zzub's heartbeat! What a blessing!! !! Now you have something else to countdown!!!! . Baby Samuel made me also cry for the little one I lost years ago...it does get easier with a little time but you always wonder about the one you never held. Thank God I'll see him again too!~
