The Battle For My Wallet IV: Return of the ZZUBs (Addendum, p.85; 07/12)

We had only been on property a little over 24 hours and at this point
I think this may be a good time to point out that you are 4 months and 14(!) chapters into this report.
Eventually I decided that Spectromagic is more enjoyable with popcorn and pop (Coke, soda, Peps, whatever).
In case Utahmama hasn't been here yet, I'd just like to point out that you can't have Peps with Spectromagic at the Magic Kingdumb.
My kingdom for a register journal.
Richard III again? Shakespeare is rolling over in his grave...
They wondered about the creepy bat float and, oddly enough, I had no answer for them. I have no clue what movie it's from or why it is in the parade.
Fantasia, man, Fantasia! Although to be honest, that sequence in the movie is very scary also.
I put her down for a spell and stretched out my knee. Good grief I’m getting old.
Gonna be weather.
Now you sound like nebo with the amazing weather foot. Funny report.
“Then die in the crowd, Woman! We’ve gotta move!”
 Now I know you didn't actually say that but it's still laugh-out-loud-in-the-dark-funny at 6:30 in the morning. Kinda like Mel telling the guard at the gate "Bite me!"

This was a great installment, my friend. Loved the Wishes/exit prep sequence but too long to quote. Classic ZZUB here....well done! :moped:

My daughter hates loud noise and fireworks are loud. We put ear plugs in her ears to help muffle the sound. I thought she had conquered this fear the year before but as it turns out, she was ready to embrace the fear again this year. In my last Trip Report, I explained that we try to teach our daughter not to give into fear. We encourage her to stare down things she’s afraid of. She also has a thing with heights, so she didn’t want to sit on my shoulders. She wanted me to just hold her. I decided to confront only one phobia at a time.

Our DD has the same issues with loud noises, she has from the womb. It's my fault, I went to see Godzilla when I was pregnant with her, and she kicked the carp out of me every time that beast roared.
At any rate, I worried for half-a-second about her and Wishes too. But she loved it!!!

Thanks Zzub for the good and the bad. Earlier today I fired off 2 emails to Disney for the great and dare I say it, magical moments, and for the decline in service I have seen over the years and the cookie cutter food that is now offered.

BTW, I live 80 miles south of the real Old Faithful, everyone should see Yellowstone once!!!

I sent my wife and daughter through “security” while I went to rent a wheelchair for my wife. God bless you Disboard nerds and dorks. Because of you, I knew that there was a weekly rental price that was cheaper than a per-day charge for strollers. I reasoned in my head that the same deal was probably available for wheelchairs. I walked up to the cast member and asked if there was a savings if I rented the wheelchair for the week. “Fo shizzle, my izzle,” she said.

“Word,” I responded.

:lmao: :lmao: Dude!!! I laughed til I cried!!!

I enjoyed the wheel chair segment, but was surprised you didn't take a moment to salvage the cloaking device right before before ditching the chair. :rotfl: A cloaking device would be ever so handy for saving prime lounge chairs around the pool at the Lodge, hiding your spare DMVC mugs from the prying eyes of the Mug Natzis, or concealing your stash of spare pop-tarts.

For those of you who have been reading my trip reports for the last year and have been tracking what's going on with my family, we got some news earlier today and I thought some of you might be interested to know that:

It's a Girl!

What a change from the last two ultrasounds we've had with this baby. We were able to see a whole lot and the baby looks fantastic. In fact, the detail was so great we were able to see that she favors her older sister a good bit. My wife is doing well and my now-oldest daughter is very excited about having a little sister.

On behalf of my wife and daughters, I want to thank those of you who have been praying for us during this last year. We are humbled and amazed by the grace of God and the love poured out on us by His children near and far, real and "imagined."

Zzub, congratulations!! I am so happy for you!!!!!

I cried with you, like so many others, last year, and followed your story with both hope and trepidation since this pregnancy.
I wish the very best for you and your family!!!!!!:cloud9:

I've been reading and lurking. Congratulations! What a fun and happy time for all of the ZZUB's. :)

So, Yolanda is still officially in the running?

princess: princess: Yay! How fun! Two princesses!!! When's she due? princess: princess:

You are SOOO Blessed!

Zzub,

You and your family are so loved here! I will join all and say how happy I am for you, and I will continue to pray for a healthy finish!

I have 2 princesses.... Welcome to the adventure!

Congratulations go out to the whole ZZUB family. Another little princess to fill your lives with happiness. God Bless.:cheer2:

:cloud9: How exciting!:cutie:
I'm so happy for you guys! Glad to hear that she is healthy and things are going well. Thank you for updating us.

Zzub, I am mostly a TR lurker, but I want you to know that I have been praying for your family. You faith is amazing, and that you choose to wear it publicly is even more amazing- in today's world, so many people hide their love for the Lord, some even hide their belief in the Lord. It is refreshing to find people who are not embarrassed to proclaim their belief and publicly praise the Lord.
Congratulations on your daughter in utero. I am sure you wil learn quickly that double children means double spoiling- man, you are in for a battle royale for that wallet of yours ;)
Anyway, sorry for being so long winded, but congrats and I will keep your family in my prayers.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
That is some great news. I'm one who's been following for a little over a year now and I've laughed and cried as I've read your TRs. Our God is SO faithful. Sorry if I missed it, but when is she due?!! Will keep the prayers going out for all the Zzubs! :grouphug:

So glad to hear the baby is doing well. And that you told us that it is another girl. Thanks for thinking of us. princess: princess: What fun .

God is good. ALL the time! Thanks for letting us know! :cool1:
