The Band that marches down mainstreet @ MK

Can anyone tell me anything about the marching band that is in the parade @ MK? It's DisneyWorld's marching band, very small in size. I'm specifically wanting to know how can my son meet one of the trumpet players. My DS is a trumpet player & a freshman in HS. Just wanted him to be able to meet them & interact with them, is there a program in which he can sign up for or a tour? Please help, just wondering..............we aren't due to go back to DW until 2006 but I wanted to be prepared when we do.

The Walt Disney World Marching Band was disbanded as of April 30th, 2000. There is no regularly-assigned CM marching unit at the MK any longer.

I know I saw a small DisneyWorld band marching in May 2003. In fact Disney had several High School bands from around the U.S. marching that particular week, and the Disney Band lead the parade. It was so cool..............Also, I've seen some of the trumpet players names & pictures on another website showing off their new mouthpieces from a local Florida mouthpiece company. I was just wanting to know how we might get in touch with some one from the band so... DS can meet one of them & see what it's like to work at DW as a trumpet player. No BIG deal... Thanks for your input !!!
