The Balderdash Cup - Results are up!

OK, the Balderdash Cup is basically a story-telling competition. When it is your turn to take the stage, you have to tell us about one of your many daring adventures. The tale can be as outrageous, ridiculous, amusing or silly as you like; just make sure you keep the audience entertained!

Every entrant will get a prize after they have told their tale, but you'll have to stick around to find out who wins the coveted title of Adventurer of The Year, along with the Balderdash Cup and more prizes! The winner will be decided upon by our highly trained judges (all right, it's the Captain and myself ), and our decision is final. Also, please do not insult the judges by trying to bribe them... unless you're offering a very large 'insult'

OK, possibly slightly short notice, but I will be rescheduling the cup to 8:30pm BST (GMT + 1) tonight! That is in just under an hour! So, get your stories ready and get to the Adventurers' Club! I'll try to open a little before, to let people get in and settled.

For those not in the UK, that is 12:30pm PST or 3:30pm EST

When I started this competition, I didn't realise quite how tricky judging was going to be! We had a trip to the moon, a narrow escape from a kraken, a trip through an edible dream world and I bite by the deadly Lesser Spotted Desert Fish (Thank you, thank you, hold your applause). But, as I brought this onerous task upon myself, I have to uphold my end of the bargain and decide on the ultimate winner. So, the winners are as follows:

In Third place is Tink, for her detailed and 'sweet' tale of her adventures through a dream world. The bit at the end of the story almost had me welling up

In Second place is Skull, for his tale of becoming King of Neverland in the Bretherin Court

And In First place, is Pirate, for her voyage with Blackheart and escape from the kraken. I hope you find Sparrow soon, my dear!


So, if you can please come find me when I get into the game, I can start handing out prizes! Thank you again to everyone who came along to listen and share stories, it was wonderful to hear you all and to spend the time in your company
