Well today it happened. Saturday, the day before Halloween I finally figured out what I would be for Halloween.
Bald. I woke this am with the same "hurting" hair that I had all week. I ran my hands through my hair and it came back with my hand. I knew it was coming but boy does that shock you when large clumps of hair come out.
So I went to see my hairdresser and got shaved. Those of you who have boys know what I am talking about, a "1" on the back and a "2" on the top. Yuck, Ilook terrible. I have hats but still can't put on the wig.
The 2nd Chemo was a little better than the first, less nausea, but the Neulasta causes such body aches. My neck and hips are killing me. The compazine helps the nausea but today I haven't eaten anything yet. Just can't think of what would taste good when your mouth tastes like you have been sucking on metal pipes.
Down 12 lbs though so maybe that is a good thing in the long run.
2 down, 6 to go. Then Radiation for a month, then a Disney Cruise. Gotta think of the positive. Peggie
