The BALD and the BEAUTIFUL go to DIZZY world! 4/2 epcot!

It was fun entertainment.... But the girls got really loud and obnoxious after awhile. Def. take your girls. How old are they?

They are 6 and 8. We went to WDW two years ago and it came down to the prime time or sci fi and the girls voted for sci fi. The girls loved sci fi, but I think next time we definitely need to try prime time. Thanks.

BTW, the kids strapped to the rocket pics are great.

Hi, :wave2: loving that you are doing a live report well done :thumbsup2. Was delighted that you managed to get your ADRs :) Joining in late but so far you are doing a really great job of keeping up, I would never be able to manage it. Your children are adorable, we took DD1 on her first trip when she was just 19 weeks it was great she was still doing the sleep, eat, poop thing most of the time. This time we are taking a 1 year old so not sure how that will go :confused3 We did take DS when he was just 18 months but he was an only one then so totally different. Enjoy the rest of your trip :goodvibes

I can't believe they still have the Narnia Exhibit. I went on that on my honeymoon back in 2006. It wasn't great then, but at least it was timely.

The "waiting in line" pictures are so cute! That's so fun that they themed the area like that.

Yay for Reya braving the characters! Aww, don't you love it when they're proud of themselves? That's great!

UUGGGG!!!! It was raining ALL day yesterday so we had to cut our day short because it was coming down too hard. We have ADR's for Crystal Palace at 8:20 this morning and the rain isn't any better. Sure hope it clears up soon! And poor Reya got a BIG boo-boo on her face yesterday, so all of our pictures today should be intersting. It looks like mommy and daddy beat her up for not wanting to go on the Haunted Mansion. :lmao: I hope that's not what people think anyway?!?!?:confused3 :scared1:

Oh no! Rain is no fun.

I hope today is sunnier!

Trust me, it can't be that bad. DS fell out of the stroller on our last trip and spent the whole second half of our trip with this on his forehead! Lovely pictures that made.

I think Saturday was the worse day too.... It was freezing!! Especially after the sun went down. The last couple of days have been perfect though. I don't think I could have asked for beter weather today. ((Just to bad we went to Universal Studios and not a disney park)) We were SOOOO disappointed with our day today. (Will explain later.))

That's so funny that you saw DH, DS, and DBIL. I bet you walked right past us. If it was earlier in the day we were probably getting pictures with Jessie, or if it was later in the day we were meeting up with them to do POTC again. That would have been so cool if we could've met.

I hope you had a great time and the 5k went well.

It was freezing!! We did have a great weekend, just over too quickly, but the 5K was great fun and I'm even thinking of doing the 1/2 next year :rotfl2:.

I'm sorry Universal was not fun, defintely going to wait until my DS is a little older and the crowds die down after the Harry Potter opening to visit there again.

When I say your DH and DS it was a little later in the day, I believe between 5-6ish, as I think we were heading to our FP for Splash Mountain...yes, we were crazy, rode SM and got soaked just before night fall?!? :scared1: don't know what we were thinking.

This is just how I saw your DH and DS...(just different park in the background ) I'm sorry we missed you though, it would have been neat to have a "Dismeet"...next time perhaps :goodvibes

Sorry about your rainy days...hope the weather clears up!!! Looking forward to more updates and pics popcorn::

I just made it over from your pre-trip. I didn't realize you were doing a live report. I love live reports!:thumbsup2

:rotfl2:Hilarious about the sweatshirt incident in the airport.

So glad you are having a great time. I hope the rain has stopped for you.

:yay: I am so glad Reya went up to meet the characters. Good for her!

popcorn::Looking forward to more.

So sorry it was cold! I hope it warmed up for you. :goodvibes: Yay for laynards--I am looking forward to seeing how pin trading goes. Especially for Reya since she and DD are close to the same age. I am glad that you were able to work out something for Jayden to sleep in--what a relief.

DHS: Reya looks adorable at DHS--such a cute picture of her. It is surprising she grew but it is a good thing! (could it have been her shoes?) Glad to hear you ended up with the TSM FPs. The food sounds like it is pretty yummy at Prime Time, I have not been there but would be willing to try it at some point. Aww--poor Reya looks a little unsure meeting Buzz and Woody--like you said, at least she did not scream. :thumbsup2 Such a cute picture of Reya and her Daddy!

I hope the rain stopped!

After our Buzz and Woody encounter we headed towards the Honey I shrunk the Kids play area.

Florida110.jpg

As we were walking we noticed the Power Rangers out and about signing autographs and taking pictures. I was just going to walk right on by, but Reya was jumping up and down begging to meet the Yellow Ranger?!? ((Reya has never watched power rangers nor have I so I have no idea what his or her name is?)) I told her to go ahead and get in line.:rotfl:

Florida113-1.jpg

We then went and bought the girls some lollipops. It was our way of rewarding Reya for being such a “BIG GIRL”! :cutie: And then let them play in the Honey I shrunk the Kids play area for 10 minutes.

After our quick romp in the grass we decided to go and see the Muppets 3-D show. ((Last time this attraction scared Reya)) But on our way we saw Lightning McQueen and Mater. I asked Reya if she would like to go meet them, and she was WAY more then excited. :yay: We put the lollipops away and got in line. When it was the girl’s turn, Reya and Breanna posed like a couple of super models. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world and I was SOOOO Happy that Reya was wanting to get her pictures taken with so many characters. :goodvibes

Florida115.jpg

Since she was getting into the spirit of things, I thought it would be a good idea to get a photo pass card. I asked the photographer for one and was all smiles because my little girl was “FINALLY” getting into the spirit of things.:lovestruc

After meeting Lightning and Mater we made it to Muppets 3D. I was hoping that she wouldn’t freak out like she did on our last visit, and she did fabulously!!! :) I was ecstatic, and feeling really great about this trip. I thought that she had gotten over all her fears. ((Later I’ll realize this is NOT the complete truth)) But at that moment I was certain of it. ((This used to be one of my favorite attractions, but NOT so much anymore))

Florida117-1.jpg

Florida119.jpg

Next up was Star Tours. Marsha and I didn’t feel like riding, so we both stayed behind and kept Jayden company. I’ve never been a big fan of this ride, it’s just to jerky for me and I end up hurting a bit after riding it. But Reya was finally tall enough to ride so she went with daddy. The entire time they were gone I was wondering how she was doing and if she was scared. When she came back she was excited to tell me all about it and just how darn fun it was!! :thumbsup2

Florida120-1.jpg

It was time to use our FP’s for TSM. I rode with Breanna, DH rode with Reya, Victor rode with Valerie, and Marsha was kind enough to take Jayden. ((whom was sleeping)) so I could actually “participate”. In the end Marsha ended up with the highest score. ((Go figure)):rotfl:

After TSM the boys wanted to ride ToT again. We decided that we would go see what the wait time was, and if it wasn’t too long we would ride it . Luckily it was only a 5 minute wait so Will, Victor, Valerie, and I decided to go for another ride. During the actual ride I didn’t realize that my seatbelt didn’t retract and it was caught around the handle bar. During the first drop I swear I flew out of my seat at least two feet. :scared1: It was quite a “ride”. It wasn’t until after the ride was over that I realized what had happened with my seatbelt.

Florida126.jpg

It was around 6:30 PM at this time and I was exhausted. The kids of course were still full of energy and wanted to do more, so we told them one more ride. They decided on RnRC! DH and Victor took Breanna and Valerie, while Marsha and I took Reya and Jayden towards the entrance of the park. On the way I wanted to stop in one of the stores so Reya could use some of her Disney Dollars. She decided on a Disney Version of Candy Land and a Tinkerbell autograph book and pen. The rest of our crew met us at the store and Breanna and Valerie decided that they wanted autograph books too. Marsha thought it was funny because her girls were acting like they were too old to get excited about the characters anymore, but since Reya was excited about it and wanted to meet them and get autographs they did too.

After doing a little shopping we were finally headed back to our room. It was FREEZING at this time and miserable trying to make it too our car. :sad2: I was so excited to get into it and crank up the heater. I NEVER thought that I would feel that way or say that while in Florida.

When we got back to our condo we just ordered food from the restaurant that is on the property. (An Irish PUB) and the girls took a bath in the Jacuzzi before bed. We pushed the two twin sized beds together in the 3rd bedroom and Reya slept with the girls. WOO-HOO!! :woohoo: I was convinced that Reya was going to want to sleep with us all week. Reya was just full of delightful surprises that day.

FAVORITES OF THE DAY:

Breanna: RnRC
Valerie: ToT
Reya: Star Tours
Jayden: Getting his Goofy ((by the way we need to buy him a new one tomorrow))

Up next: MK, breakfast with the princesses, Will Reya continue not to be scared of the characters.

Yay! Reya is getting over it, somewhat! I bet you were on cloud 9!!! Shelby loves Cars! Everytime the Mater's Shorts play on the Disney Channel she is glued to the screen!

OMG ToT, that is my worst fear. I rode it back in 07 & said I will never do it again! That is my biggest fear come to life. I got off of there shaking like crazy & in badly need of a cigarette (but like the great Disney girl I am, I got to the Designated area to light one up). Thank God Shelby is too small to ride. That one I will graciously pass on!

awwwwwwwww how sweet! reya is so beautiful & i'm proud of her for overcoming her fear!

Thank you! :goodvibes Shelby is very beautiful too.

Way to go Reya!!

:goodvibes

Sci Fi is fun too. I enjoyed the food more at prime time. The original reason we chose against the Sci Fi was because we couldn't all sit together. You can only fit two people per seat.

Thanks for joining in :) I'm def. not keeping up the way I had hoped. But that's okay, it'll be nice to do it when I get home so I can reminence about the trip later.

DD was 18 months when we took her last time. And to be truthful it was a little easier then. However, she's enjoying a LOT more this time.

Yeah, not impressed at all of the Narnia exhibit.

The girls had a great time getting their pictures taken. It was nice to have something to do while we were waiting. And yes, it's so fun when your children are proud of themselves. Makes your heart swell as a parent.

Well, the sun didn't make an apperance at ALL. I'll explain later.

Awe, your poor son. DD looked like that on our last trip too... She dropped her binkie and when she went to pick it up it was like her head weighed 100 lbs and she fell head first into the ground.

It was freezing!! We did have a great weekend, just over too quickly, but the 5K was great fun and I'm even thinking of doing the 1/2 next year.

We usually have a GREAT time at Universal. But this time was really disappointing. And poor Reya wasn't able to do much, and jayden wasn't able to ride ANYTHING. I do like the way they do their baby swap though. And I DO have to go back someday for Harry Potter. ((we got to see hogwarts from a distance and it looks amazing.

Glad you had a goodtime at the 5K!! Good for you! :thumbsup2

Thanks for joining me. :)

The rain stopped today. We've had such a huge mixture of weather since we've been here. It's freezing one day, windy the next, perfect one day, and pouring rain the next. It's been very unpredictable.
:rotfl:

Well Reya really hasn't gotten into the spirit of the pin-trading thing this trip. She has done some, but she's just not as intrested in it as the other girls are. Breanna and Valerie are loving it and have been trying to go for a certain theme. Breanna was going for couples, and Valerie was going for Dinsey babies. So it's sorta been like a scavenger hunt of sorts for them.

Reya has only had a small handful of temper tantrums this trip. Luckily none of them have involved character greetings. :thumbsup2 I'm so glad that she got over her fear. (Well not 100%)

Yes, Jayden and Daddy look very cute together.

Well, the rain stopped today. But the last two days have been wet, wet, wet! :sad2:

Love the supermodel poses....too cute.

I feel the same way as you do about Star Tours, but it actually makes me a little sick to my stomach, so I avoid it altogether now!

I know exactly how you feel about the cold.....I never thought I could be cold in Florida after vacationing there for the past 4 summers, but let me tell you, we froze!!!!

You'll notice that Breanna poses like a model in most pictures. I really think that marsha should look into getting her into modeling, she's such a natural.

We had to actually get hot cocoa yesterday. Another thing I thought I would never do in florida. :rotfl: it was cheap.... I'm thinking they don't sell a lot of cocoa usually..... especially during spring break time.

What an adorable pose Reya struck with McQueen and Mater! She looks like she is having a great time! Whew--what a scary ride on TOT. I rode it once, no thank you not again for me! :lmao: What happened to Jayden's Goofy? Did Goofy get lost?

I know I love that photo! Have to frame it.

No we didn't loose it..... He ummmmmm marked it as his territory, I guess you could say. Goofy was a little too close for comfort during a diaper change. And I don't think I can wash it. :rotfl:

Lol about goofy being Jayden's potty. I bet you could wash it, but it would lose it's furriness.

So great that Reya is doing so well with the characters and gets to go on all those rides!

Your nieces are too cute with the modeling, I love it. Little girls are too funny. Glad they're getting into the autographs with Reya!

I showed DS the picture of Reya with the yellow ranger. He was SO excited and said that he was going to meet the power rangers at disney and bring them home. Uhhh...Not quite. I think someone is going to be a little disappointed!

Scary about tower of terror. I really liked when they had the lap bar instead. I always check my seatbelt like 50 times to make sure it's really hooked. Glad you're alright!

Crazy that it was so cold. Glad the cocoa was so cheap though!

I'm so happy that Reya is getting into the characters a bit more- I almost feel like I know your family now and I feel so proud of her! :goodvibes

Loving your updates- I really appreciate that you're doing this live, during your vacation- it's wonderful hearing about each day and your thoughts- thanks for sharing! ;)

I'm back now and loving catching up on your TR! Great pictures! We had to cut our last day short because of the rain, too. :sad1: I can't wait to read more!!!!
