Hello and WELCOME!

Well, we haven’t actually left on our trip yet…..:rolleyes1

We leave in 3 days!!! Our flight leaves at 8:10 AM mountain time on March 4th to be EXACT!! :woohoo:

BUT ………..

I’ve decided to start a little early because I’m going to try and attempt a LIVE trip report ! I did one for my last DLR vacation and was able to keep up with it for awhile, ((Had so much fun doing it)) …….. but after the 6th or 7th day wasn’t able to finish until I retuned home.

Please know that I will try my best to do this live, and I hope that you will all enjoy the ride. The more responses and feedback I get, the more encouraged I am to keep up with it. So please don’t be afraid to leave comments, I LOVE hearing from as many people as possible and love meeting new people here on the DIS. :goodvibes

Soooooooo let’s get started ………………………………...... :surfweb:

Introduction of characters

THE BALD

DH (34)(Will) : Our first date was my Senior Prom and we’ve been inseparable ever since then. We actually visited WDW for the first time together back in 1996 and have been several times since then. Our most memorable would have been when we got married at the POLY in 2001 and when we took DD for the 1st time in 2007. He’s the most hard working man I know and I couldn’t ask for a better Dad for my two children.

Roadtrip204-2.jpg

DS (11 weeks old) (Jayden): My new sweet, lovable baby boy! He’s only been here for 11 short weeks, and I already don’t know what I would do without him. This trip has been in the making ever since I found out I was pregnant and I’m beyond excited to take him to see all the wonderful sights and sounds of WDW. As of now all he does is sleep, eat, poop and pee. But OHHHHH my GOODNESS, does he have the cutest smile ever. It melts my heart every time I see it. It doesn’t matter how bad my day is, once I see him smile and coo at me I forget all my troubles.

THE BEAUTIFUL

DD (3 ½) (Reya): The words that best describe her would be: Lovable, funny, sweet, crazy, cute, compassionate, irritating, beautiful, and inquisitive. ((Just to name a few)) This will be her 2nd trip to WDW, the first time was when she was 18 months old. Back then she didn’t know the difference between Mickey Mouse and Goofy, or what a princess was. We had a wonderful time with her and will never forget the memories we took from that trip, but this time it’s going to be REALLY magical. She FINALLY “get’s it”!! She dresses up as a princess everyday, and LOVES Tinkerbell and Snow Wipe above all else. She also knows all of her Disney Characters and is excited to meet as many as she can! Seeing Disney through her eyes this trip is going to leave me in tears everyday, I know it!

jayden072.jpg

Niece (7) (Valerie): Recently passed the Princess phase and is now into the “vampire” phase. ((Twilight is all she and her sister talk about)) Val of course is still excited about this trip and all the exciting rides. She lived in Orlando for a summer a couple years back and had an AP back then, so is NO stranger to WDW. She can be really hyper at times and questions EVERYTHING. But I love her dearly and she’s going to make a great addition to this trip.

(At Reyas bday party. Valerie is on the far right)

Niece (9) (Breanna): Is a gorgeous and sweet girl. Just like her sister, she’s into the Twilight phase. I know she’s going to be a big help with the baby on this trip. She’s constantly wanting to hold him or feed him. She’s also wonderful at keeping my DD occupied and being very motherly toward her. She’s very mature for her age and I’m excited to have her along for the ride.

THE REST OF US

ME (31) (Deanna): I’m a SAHM and loving every second of it. I’ve loved Disney since the day I walked through the gates back in 1996. I LOVE being a Mom and think my children are the best things that ever happened to me, and wouldn’t change a minute of my crazy life. As far as Disney goes, I love EVERYTHING about it. The sights, the smells, the parades, the fireworks, the rides, the people, the happy children EVERYWHERE! I always shed a tear or two every time I walk down Main Street for the first time on each trip. This year I’m prepared for some major waterworks, since I’ll be sharing memories with both of my lovely kids. I’m excited to make some spectacular, lifelong memories.

Roadtrip014-5.jpg

(Sorry about the glassy eyes. Was 3 am the morning of my last disney trip))

DSIL (35) (Marsha) : My DH’s sister. Luckily we’ve gotten along since day one of knowing each other. We’ve been on a couple of vacations together in the past and get along beautifully, we’ve NEVER had any problems, so I’m not worried about there being any tension on this trip. She’s one of the most laid back persons I know, and my DD loves her like a 2nd Mom. She’s always willing to help me out with anything I need and I’m lucky to have her in my life. She’s let me take complete control of the planning of this trip. Hope I won’t disappoint.

((Making bibs at my baby shower. Val, Marsha, Breanna))

DBIL (38) (Victor): All I can say about Victor is that he is a wonderful, laid back, one of a kind guy. He treats my kids like one of his own and is my husbands best friend as well as BIL. He HATES the cold weather and is mostly excited to go to Florida to soak up some sun. I think he’s more excited then the kids and can’t wait to see him act like a kid again.

Welcome! I’m glad you’ve decided to come along for the ride.

Isn’t being a SAHM the best? I love being able to be at home raising my kids everyday. Wouldn’t change it for anything.

I understand those Disney withdraws… They’re the pits.

I’m happy to have you reading along, and hope it helps to make you feel better.

I know you gotta be just as excited as I am to leave.

Good luck at the 5K, I’m looking forward to hearing how it went. We’re at MK the same day, so maybe we WILL see ya.

So exciting that we’re both leaving so soon….. Will you do a report when you get back? I’m excited to see how Ashlynn does at Disney.

I'll definitely be doing a TR after we get back. I'm hoping Ashlyn will do well. I can't wait to hear how all the little ones do on your trip!! And I know there will be fabulous pictures to go along with all the stories. :)

Where we’re staying

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa

We decided to stay OFF property this year to save money and for the following reasons:

*Washer/Dryer
*3 bedrooms
*3 Bathrooms
*Full kitchen
*Jacuzzi Tubs
*Dishwasher

With an infant the washer/dryer and Dishwasher are going to be a life-saver! :worship:

Here’s some pictures of the resort for your viewing pleasure

subbing! So excited you're starting a TR already, that must mean the trip is pretty much here! Can't wait to read live! (Oh, and you and DSIL should be in "the beautiful" too! Poor DBIL will have to lose his hair to join a group, I guess. I bet he'd rather be part of "the rest of us"!)

Moving over from your PTR!

Woo-hoo!! :woohoo: So happy all my previous readers have made the switch!

Ahhhh, aren't you sweet!! I definitely agree that DSIL should fall under the beautiful category as well.

:rotfl: Wonder if I could convince Victor to shave his head for the trip?

I'm excited to have you reading along. Thanks for being with me from the beginning!

Wow, sounds like you're going to have an awesome time!
The condo looks amazing

Thanks.... I hope it is amazing. We stayed at a condo on our last WDW trip too and it was so beautiful, I cried when we left. I'm hoping this place is just as fantastic. The reason we chose this place over the last one we stayed at was because it seems a little more kid friendly. I can't wait to tell everyone about it. Hopefully it will be all good stuff.

Looking forward to reading along on your trip!! :goodvibes

Thanks for making the move over from my PTR..... I'm glad to have you along for the ride.

I LOVE live reports! Can't wait to read more.

Hope I won't disappoint, and I hope I can keep up with it. I love Live reports to... Reading them and writing them. :surfweb:

****Usually when I go on a Disney vacation everything is planned down to the minute. This trip I’ve decided that I need to be more laid back and just go with the flow since we’ll be traveling with an infant. I plan on just taking my time and enjoying the atmosphere rather then having a strict agenda. ((Can’t wait)) *****:yay:

I'm subscribing! I love your PTR and your family is very adorable! I am also eager to hear about your off-site stay. My dh and I don't really desire to stay off-site with our immediate fam. but we are playing a big family trip for late 2011 and I wonder if the off-site condo may be a better idea?? The pics look nice and pool looks fun! I'm looking forward to your live TR!

BTW was your DL pics in your PTR the character breakfast at Paradise Pier? I will be taking a couple trips to CA this year and I may do that breakfast. My DD was afraid of all the characters at 2 but she LOVES them now! My DS (7) was still shy of characters last trip and even "hid" behind his little brother (4)-who loved ALL the characters- !!:lmao: He is going to have to get over it quick because I have 4 character meals planned for our trip in May!!!:rotfl2: AND we are doing the STAR WARS weekend which will be FULL of characters!!! but he loves STAR WARS so maybe it will be different!!!!
