Cheri, I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather!! I had no idea I will be praying for him. I am glad though to hear that your dad finally had his surugeries and everything is looking like it's getting better for him. That is fantastic news! I've said this elsewhere but that sucks that you will have to be gone for so long but I look forward to seeing you around this DIS in the evenings. hey everybody! I am leaving tomorrow morning, hoping to be in Beaumont by 1:30 at the latest.

Work honored my request for a rental car, so I was thrilled! I will have the place pick me up in the morning (Enterprise...ya know, "we'll pick you up" ), one stop at the bank, come back home to load up the rental (easier that way), and then I'm on my way!

I'll have my camera in tow---to take pictures of the hotel, and anything cool I see, but most importantly, so I can load all my pics on photobucket and start my report! I know y'all are dying to hear about it!

Well, I really must get some sleep. I always keep myself up late at night before a trip, but it probably wasn't the best idea in this case since I'm driving 4 hours BY MYSELF. Oh well, nothin a little caffeine can't fix!
