FINALLY! I'm ready! I've never cut it this close...ever!

Actually there is one thing we can't find...Mike's "park bag" that he used last year. He tends to lose things so easily! And I asked him repeatedly to go look for it and he wouldn't. I was unsuccessful in finding it and I figure he has a better chance.
I don't see us finding it tomorrow morning....BUT if we do, that'd be nice.

it's actually not a section...it's a boarding group. Southwest doesn't do assigned seating. You just get assigned a boarding group which determines the order everyone gets on (A, B, or C) so A is the best--you get a better pick of seating.

I sure will! I should be seeing him...

Well, I only have about 8 hours til our flight....which means I have to wake up in less than 5 hours!

I can finally say I am ready! Well, as ready as I can be at this point.

Here's what I did tonight:
-tanned one last time (stand up bed)
-2 loads of laundry
-packed carry on bag, park bag, all the toiletries, a couple more items of clothing, hair stuff, jewelry, got my make up ready (can't pack it yet...gotta use it tomorrow)
-trimmed my fingernails
-gave myself a mini pedi
-"fixed" by camera....the tiny piece that held the flap for the port closed broke off and I ended up having to use electrical tape on it (isn't that the skinny black tape? )
-Made sure all the pics on my memory cards were uploaded to the external hard drive, so we have all that space for Disney now!
-Put together important documents in a folder
-Packed our "snack bag" which will serve as a souvenir bag on the way home
-showered, shaved, plucked my eyebrows, and dried my hair...after letting it air dry a bit I hope it doesn't look too wild tomorrow!
-Cleaned out my purse
-Put the ME tags on our luggage
-I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting. I sure packed in a busy night!

Mike brought Chance to the vet earlier today to be boarded for the week, and mowed the lawn. He took out the trash too. Then he gave Merlin a bath. He will be going to my cousin's house (around the corner) for the week.
Only, there's one problem. I haven't been able to get in touch with my cousin all evening!! I drove by her house and it was almost pitch black, only light was in the kitchen. I called my aunt (her mom) to see if she had her from her because I had been calling her cell phone and her husband's cell phone and NO ONE will answer or call back. I've also sent text messages. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
I'm actually a little worried!!

Assuming they are just fine (let's hope!)...I'm sure they will not be up that early tomorrow morning....I don't know if they forgot or are out drinking or what! But worst case scenario, I will bring Merlin to my parents' house and have them bring him to her (or her pick him up) later in the day.

There's ANOTHER obstacle, as well. My dad called and said the exit to get to his house off of I-55 (the only route there from my house) is CLOSED due to flooding because of the lake being so high and the storm pushing all the water in. That means one of 2 things has to happen:
A) We leave 30 minutes EARLIER, drive to the next exit (about 15 minutes out), turn around there so we can make it to my parents' house.
B) We leave around the same time, meet my dad in Kenner (that's the city the airport is in) somewhere and park my car in a not-so-deserted location. He said he and my sister are going to look for cars for her in that area anyway, so one of them would drive my car home (their house I mean) so it's not left there for the week.
I am thinking it's going to have to be option B. There's just no way we're gonna be out of the house at 4:30!

Of course, the BEST thing that could happen is if the water recedes...even though they might still have the exit itself blocked, maybe we could still get through.

I just can't believe the setbacks! We will make it to WDW, we'll just be VERY tired when we get there. Okay, I'LL be tired. Mike's been asleep for hours.

I'm praying that I hear back from my cousin...maybe she will text me when she sobers up (I'm currently assuming she's punch drunk! )

If I don't get a chance to stop by before I leave, I just want to say....HASTA LA VISTA! Catch y'all on the flip side of Mickey!!!

It is now 5pm Orlando time, so by now I am hoping you made it to the airport safely, had a great flight, and were able to check-in to your AWESOME room right away!!!! Based upon your itinerary---you are probably at EP or DTD having fun on TT or shopping like a fiend at DTD!!! Enjoy your dinner tonight at Raglan Road---it's not too bad, pretty good!!! Have a fun night and get some SLEEP!!!!!!!

I'm home!

It was a really great trip!! But I'm very emotional this morning. I so badly didn't want to come home. I don't know why I get SO sad coming home!

I journaled a bit, more-so earlier in the trip when I had the energy, so hopefully I can get started pretty soon. It won't be today though, because I can't bring myself to write about the beginning of the trip quite yet. I don't want to make myself cry (more).

The main thing is we really did have a great time and created some wonderful memories!!!!
