The Bacon strikes again! Bouncin' back in Sept! UPDATE: We're back! What a trip! p43

Hello!!!! To all of you who do not know me, I am a huge Disney fanatic (who here isn't?) and I never ever thought I'd be going to Disney 3 years in a row.....

but I'm going back this September 13th-20th at Pop Century Resort for Free Dining!!!

First up...the CAST:

Me, Cheri, aka Cherbear, a 25 yr old (26 by the time of the trip) lover of all things Disney, especially Chip and Dale!!!

Mike, my hubby, aka DH (no profile here YET), a 26 yr old who loves Disney but due to male pride, won't admit to the full extent of that love.

(he rarely smiles for a picture of just himself, so here's us together)

Now, here comes the tricky part. It was just going to be us, then my cousin, her husband, and her 6 yr. old were going to come with us. They ended up not being able to go, and unfortunately that was AFTER we had already made dining reservations. By this point in time, my Mom and sister decided they really want to go, and my mom's lifelong friend Linda wants to go and bring her daughter Brittany.
Fast forward to present time, and they are booked during the same dates as us at Pop Century with free dining. (Dad has decided it's "too soon" to go to Disney...we all think he's crazy since they haven't been since summer of '06)

So, the quick fix was to attempt to add 1 person to our ADR's (did I lose anyone on the math there?). You'll find out the results of this quest in my next update.

First, pics of the rest of the cast:

Mom(DM) and Tracey (DSister)
I won't post Mom's age, but she's a fun-loving, adventure-craving, Disney lover who has been going since it first opened.
Tracey (20) is a college student and will be missing a couple days of school in order to go, but she doesn't care...she's going! Some people have said we look alike, but I don't see the resemblance.

Linda is Mom's friend, and a dear friend of our family. She now lives in Santa Rosa Beach, FL and we are going to visit her at the end of this week, as a matter of fact!

and Brittany (21) who is just too cute for her own good. She is also in college and will be missing school, but she says "Who cares! I'm going to WDW!"

Neither of these 2 have been to WDW in a long time. So I'm considering them newbies b/c they don't know what's going to hit them!

Lastly, we have Bacon:

Bacon has been around a LONG time, and made its first appearance on my 2001 trip to WDW. More about this later.

So, as mentioned, my ADR's, etc. will be coming up, and you'll find out how we made out on changing them to accomodate one more person. You'll just have to see!

I'm sure there's SOMETHING I'm missing, so if I need to include something else here, somebody please enlighten me.

Announcement: Yesterday, I booked my flight for this year's trip!!!

We will leave N.O.(MSY) at 8:00 AM and arrive at MCO(Orlando Airport) at 10:45 AM!! I will be able to eat lunch in WDW!!

On the way back we will leave Orlando airport at 4:50 PM and arrive home at 5:45 PM! We got the earliest flight out, and the latest flight back.

We(I) booked through Southwest with a 15% off Ding.....and the total comes to....$302.10 for the 2 of us. The outgoing flight went up by $5 since Friday, so I had to jump on it yesterday since today is the last day for the 15% ding. It just feels great to know we have it booked already, and we will be arriving at WDW by lunchtime!!!!!

SO AWESOME!!!

I am still working on that report, because I was without a working computer for quite some time. This one should remain relatively quiet until I can finish the other report, but I have a lot in store for you here once that one comes to an end! I’m still enjoying reminiscing and writing about that trip and I hope anyone who sees this will come and join me over there! It starts off as a PTR but I have all the links to the TR on the first post. And each installment in the TR links to the next installment. That should make it easy to pass up all the banter (unless you enjoy banter that is).

WOOHOO!! I didn't think it was going to come until tomorrow at the earliest, but HEY I am not complaining!


I got something else, too (besides the waste disposal bill). Here is a picture:

It's Gillette's new oil control Face & Body wash. A free sample from Walmart dot com Mike will be taking that on vacation.

I have PLENTY of samples that I use for travelling...you can just call me the sample queen! I should take a picture of all I've collected these past couple of months. It's actually pretty fun seeing how many I can get. I should take a picture of all of them, but then y'all might think I'm nuts!
