The Bachelorette-May 24-NO SPOILERS

was it my imagination or were there really sparks flying with Chris? I sooo don't want to see him get hurt in all this.

And what was making me mad with Ali was all her talk about how selfish it was of Frank and he was the biggest jerk she knew when she did the same to Jake...worse even since she left for a job instead of a girl he thought he was over. (BTW, jake is the biggest jerk she knows....I guess she just didn't know that when this aired!)

Hmmm ... I could swear I posted last night ...

I watched Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and he showed Frank while Ali was reaming out the Wrestler for joining the show while he had a girlfriend at home. The look on his face was PRICELESS!

That was hilarious!

I thought Chris and Ali had some steam going last night.

I thought that too, she dropped out too. I think the whole scene was pathetic. He was being honest, she was just thinking of herself. It's all about me, me, me......:sad2:

I can't believe I haven't read this thread until now. And I only read the past 2 pages due to time (kid) constraints. This season has to be the worst yet. I tell my DH constantly it is so staged and phony. Ali can't even ACT like she has feelings for any of these guys! There is no chemistry with any of them, not even Roberto. Where she pulled those crocodile tears from last night with Franks departure, I will never know.

The other thing I find a tad interesting, is all the inside scoop was "leaked" at the beginning of the season. We all knew what bachelors had girlfriends and who she picks at the end. Of course they leaked it to make us watch. It worked in muy case, though I honestly can't believe I watch it at times.

At this point, I think all these people are in it for the potential fame amd TV exposure.

I have thought the same thing for both the men and the women. I have also thought that it would be very difficult for the "winner" to watch your new fiance get down with two other men/women on national TV. I'm sure there is a lot of editing involved and maybe they really don't have sex but they sure imply it!

My thoughts exactly. So, let's say Ali and her winner are sitting on the sofa watching The Bachelor last night. Does he get squicked out when he sees the door close on the fantasy suite with the other guy??

Awkward.....

That may be true of Ally, but I don't see that with Chris or Roberto for that matter. They both seem so much more genuine than any guy usually on this show. They both seem to really care for her...I hate for either to get hurt, but Chris especially since he's been through so much. they really had some chemestry last night!

Remember she said I just wish he would have told me about her. She stated she was just wanting open honesty from the guys. I think that leaving for a job or for a family member is a little different than leaving for another girl that you have been thinking of after every date. If she knew about her than perhaps she would have not been so surprised. I personally thought she took it well seeing that I think she would have picked him in the end.

I know many say this is a crappy season however I will say I was hooked and have not watched any bachelor/ette type show since Trista and Ryan. I like it and love the whole Chris storyline. However it is scripted tv but I still look forward to it every monday night.

ok abc is pissing me off

i'm trying to watch it online on their site but it stops every 4 or 5 seconds to buffer..

agggggrrrr it's as aggravating as this season.

where else can i see it??

i really wonder if ali knows or cares how much of an itch shes coming across as with her i gave up everything and apparently you didn't speech.

i'll give this to frank even though i thought him very odd and something up he didn't do it like the wrestler on purpose to hurt her or to get himself in the lime light he came to her when he realized the reason he was stand offish from her was because of his feelings for his ex.

oh and if frank was only going there to break up with ali why the heck did he take so much luggage??? wouldn't a back pack with a change of close be enough?

while i was looking for another place to watch this show online i came across this short article about Justin

Justin Rego From The Bachelorette 2010 – Claims He Was Betrayed. Justin Rego From The Bachelorette 2010 – Claims He Was Betrayed. If you watched last Monday night’s episode of the Bachelorette then you will probably know that Justin Rego didn’t really have a lot to say on the episode. However, it seems that now, the tables have turned and the man is claiming that he was betrayed by the show’s producers.

Justin Rego was kicked out of the show as word emerged that he only came on the show to make a name for himself and that in fact, he actually had a girlfriend already at home. However, Justin is now claiming that he tried to leave the show before they went to Turkey and that the producers simply would not let him do so. In a recent interview in People magazine, Justin said “I feel betrayed, manipulated and unfairly lied to by both the producers of ABC’s The Bachelorette, and Jessica.”

The star says that he told the producers all about his girlfriend back at home before he went to Turkey with the show and they still did not allow him to leave. AS lot of people don’t believe Justin and thin that he is just trying to worm his way out of trouble

I finally watched it this afternoon. I do wonder if Frank had not taken himself out, who would Ali have kept around.

All I could think of during Roberto's date was get that man a hotel room with AC! How HOT must it be in the tropics and a place with no air? :scared1: Poor guy was dripping sweat even at the night time dinner.

I can't decide if he is just reserved or a complete himbo, but he never has anything very interesting to say and hemmed and hawed a LOT. And I just don't think he's THAT good looking. Frank sans glasses and with some stubble even looks better than he does. IMHO

Enough about the heart shaped lagoon!!

Didn't believe a WORD that came out of Frank or Nicole's mouth. That conversation in her little place was SO forced and awkward. I wanted her to look a LITTLE more surprised when she opened the door and ask "Hey, what is up with the camera guys?" I was impressed by Frank's red eyes though once he was with Ali. One of the better acting jobs I have seen from a guy on this show!

And Chris. After Ali breaks his heart (even if they end up together at the end of this show, chances are it will not last) I really hope he finds someone worthy of him. What a great guy he is. Or at least kudos to the bachelorette producers for the great edit. We all know Jake turned out to be anything but the perfect guy!

They had ads running here for a casting call for the next Bachelor. I SO wanted to go down there just to see what kind of people show up for that! I wonder if that means they might actually try to find someone new or if they will stick to picking runner ups from past seasons.

I think that Ali was going to choose Frank in the end if he hadn't of decided that he loved someone else. I also think that had he told her about his ex, he would not have been around so long.

Aw dang, I'm gonna be missing the DRAMATIC (cue Chris Harrison voice over) "The Men Tell All" next week!

Oh, well. I'm sure it'll be the typical:

Boy-with-girlfriend-is-a-scumbag
Creepy Guy-will-get-picked-on
Nerdy/Awkward Guy-will-get-picked-on
Someone-will-be-called-out-for-dramatic-exit
Bachelorette-will-fake-laugh-and-cry

hey - you've see it already haven't you????

how did you know all that????

I might be totally naiive here but I think so too. I honestly think Ali does have real feelings for them. Last season with Jake when she left, I felt like she was faking being sad about it. That didn't seem real to me. Her actions with the guys in this episode didn't feel that way to me. I thought hers and Franks tears seemed real.
I think that Chris and Roberto seem to be the most genuine and nicest guys I have ever seen on the show.
I could be wrong on all acounts. I know they mess with the people and the show to make it more 'entertaining' but that doesn't mean that none of it is real or that everything about the people is fake. At least that's my opinion.
I think people tend to be really hard on Ali and most people on these kind of shows in general.

I agree.
