He really is a jerk. I never found the appeal of him, but I thought he was a nice guy that season, in a wimpy wishy washy kind of way. Now he just seems like a total ***.

the whole thing just seems like a set up from the very start. however other then this past week or so when else have V been on tv or in the mags?

it's always been Jake Jake Jake.

I have no doubt that she wouldn't shut up but that he got his digs in too - it was very clear how there relationship went behind closed doors

i'm pretty sure that jake used the immaturity of V to his advantage not to mention he lack of education and or grace. it's very easy for someone like V to resort to yelling and screaming when she's cornered by words or arguments she can't either understand or respond to with any intelligence

I think Vienna looked like a baby. Bringing up stupid things, saying she couldn't leave him even though she knew it was getting sour. Why would her whole town turn their backs on her for moving?

OK, they're certainly not the first Bachelor/Bachelorette couple to split. But what I don't understand is why did they get interviewed on the show about it but no one else did?
Of all the previous couples who broke up, and some others broke up within 6 months, why do they get on TV? Like a PP suggested, I think it's all about Jake and his publicist. And I wonder if exposure for the new show, Bachelor Pad, had something to do with it.

We told him not to pick her!!! LOL!!! We saw all the red flags!!!

I think Jake would be really hard to be with and Vienna is wacko!

Like the others, I am surprised in how this makes me feel about Jake.
Nobody is perfect, but I really did not have the impression that Jake was like this. ( No wonder Vienna can only say over and over that he is a liar... she feels lied to/mislead.)

Maybe I shouldn't say it, but my DH has some of the same traits... (male to be more in control, not 'in-tune' with others emotional needs, etc....)
Jake, very obviously, expecially in hindsight, firmly believes and feels that the woman's sole reason for existence is to be in her man's shadows, supporting him, to the exclusion of everything else. (Read up on some of Jakes comments that go wayyyy back.. Almost scary now that we see the real context.)

Of course, we've ever had arguments that look that what we just saw... (THANK HEAVENS!!!!) But, I have to say that, from experience, I saw a LOT tonight that other women who have been with this type of men can relate too. There were a few little verbatim quotes that I have said, or heard. before.

I only started watching the show this season so I never got to see Jake and Vienna's relationship progress... but oh my goodness! I was just sitting there and cringing through the whole interview. So dramatic, and not very flattering for either one of them!

I always got a creepy vibe from Jake. Vienna always acted very immature, so her childish behavior should not have shocked him. Maybe he thought she was someone he could control? The example of the GPS was strange. I've used GPS when my DH thought he knew the directions. He just laughs at me. I can't imagine him getting mad about it and throwing the GPS. Why have this on now? Why not wait until "After the Final Rose"? I smell a setup for Jake and Ally getting together.

I don't think Jake and Ally would last 2 minutes if that is how Jake acts! YIKES!

I think most other Bachelor/Bachelorette breakups have been fairly quiet. They just announce it, and that's that. There was already tabloid stories about Vienna before that season even ended. And then Jake went on Dancing with the Stars. Seems like they were more out there than most, so the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise had a gift handed to them to get more publicity.

This is on now because this is when it's in the news, and there's a season on that they could stick this interview in. And I don't for a minute think Jake and Ali would end up together! Ali would be nuts to go for him now. Blech.

How did Jake end up on The Bachelor Pad so quickly?? He does seem to be an attention *****.

I didn't realize how long the interview is - Vienna just walked out crying, Jake looks like he hates Vienna, is that really how he wants to come across? What a change from a self proclaimed Mr. Nice Guy!

I think Jake just put a damper on the ratings for any future show he is on. Maybe I am wrong, but somehow I found myself believing Vienna. She is immature, but hurt is hurt not matter how immature you are. She truly seemed tobe very hurt and frustrated with trying to deal with him. How many times did he use the word "undermines" me? No doubt he is always right and how dare anyone question him. I think leaving him is the best thing that has happened to her since the show started. Someone mentioned Ali and Jake getting together....although I don't care for Ali, how on earth could she want him after seeing that! Speaking of Ali, I think she is a whiny mouth. Thought that since she cried and carried on during the last season when she had to decide about going back to her job or staying. Just the tone of her voice sounds like a little girl when she is not getting her way.
