I think you get a much better sense of someone when you see where/how they grew up. Meeting the BF's parents in a restaurant isn't the same thing. I hope you're right.

Gia Allemand, who was sent home by Bachelor Jake Pavelka this week, appears on today's Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about being broken-hearted and to ask her if she's dating.

Ellen: "Now, are you over him? Or do you still have feelings for him?"
Gia: "It took me a while when I got home. I didn't really go out much. I didn't go out."
Ellen: "You have to be careful, so you can't flirt or really be with anybody."
Gia: "Even if I could. I really couldn't anyway in that state of mind with my heart broken and everything. So I finally got over it and I was moving on and then I was watching the show on Monday night I was like hysterical in my hotel room. I was like, 'Oh my, that really hurt.'"

Ellen: "Are you dating now?"
Gia: "I'm actually going to have my first date next week."
Ellen: "Really, your very first date?"
Gia: "My first date in a while."

Ok, I can't stand "The Ladies Tell All" episode...just a filler episode imo. I'll be watching tonight but I'm sure we won't really learn anything new. Except maybe a little more about the Rozlyn situation??

I never buy magazines. Ever. But I saw this week's issue of US and just had to buy it. "Jake's Mistake"......hmmm, haven't read the article yet. Want to savor my rag mag with some quiet and a cup of tea.

Okay, here is my take...

Yes, Ali is promoting herself. Of course she was/is... That just goes without saying. And, the very obviously staged phone call.... Of course, TPTB have to 'bite' and keep it all going... But, there is no gun to Ali's head. She is just BEGGING for attention, even down to her daffodil dresses!!! (like this.....) But, I have never liked Ali... I have never seen her as 'genuine'... And, she was as green as God's green, green, grass, over the attention that Vienna was getting. If there is anyone who is nothing but self-absorbed and 'high maintenance', it is Ali. Hands down.

Gia, I knew she was going home. She is a real sweetheart... But, she really has some personal/confidence issues that she needs to work on. She talked about how she needed to be able to open up more to Jake and show him who she is... and I was thinking... "Girl, how can you do that until YOU find out who you are...." She is a sweet-heart and I love her to death.. but, she was going home...

Tenly... OMG, when they showed the video messages and she started out with "After my heartbreak" Hey, you are supposed to be ready for man to propose to you, and every, single, situation is prefaced with your past heartbreak????

Vienna, Okay, she is the immature 'hooters girl'.... But, I have to say that after seeing the final dates and those videos... it is very obvious why Jake continues to choose her, and how she has gotten this far. Like I said, sure she is the immature, redneck, 'hooters girl'... But I have never been able to completely negatively judge her. There is something more there.... She said a lot of the right things in her video message, where the other girls did not.

Of course, whether or not she is really 'right' for Jake is yet to be seen. But, seeing Jake, and who he really is in his own personal down-time... flip-flops, camping, etc.... Sometimes when you really look at who a person is deep inside, it is not what you are expecting (ie. Jillian, choosing drunken, 'cad', Ed....) Apparantly she is just like him and she chose the one she really wanted. ( again... )

And, isn't crazy step-ford wive, Michelle supposed to be there tonight in full form!!!

It so good to see some of the past people. I loved see Juan and Kiptyon.

I was so impressed to see Gwen and Bettina I had always hoped they would have done the Bachlorette they were two of my favorite Bachleor of any season
