Wait. Watching time shifted. Did Sean just blame dumping Lindsay on God?

Yes, God works in mysterious ways. Suddenly, <poof!> God made him know it was Catherine over Lindsay - on that final date, no less. It's all about God's timing.

Catherine's responses make me think she knew it was her all the time.

A friend of mine's sister was on the season with Aaron I think his name was. She was eliminated on the 4th or 5th show, but she said there was never any doubt between any of the girls that Aaron was going to pick the girl he picked. They all knew it but had to play up the charade that he was torn, and the girls all had to pretend like they really had a chance. Now it might not happen like that every single season but I think it was this season. I think as much as he was saying he could see either as his wife, he knew who is wife was long before the final dates.

See, this is exactly what I mean about Sean being a player and a great salesman. HE may have known who he wanted, but he really sold himself to AshLee, Lindsay and Catherine, so that they EACH felt they would be The One.

All three women thought they were The One.

I thought the "big announcement" was fairly satisfying. Most of the other couples come on the final rose and say that they are going to see how the relationship pans out in the real world and that they will take it slow. Sean and Catherine seemed pretty adamant that they were going to get married and committed to allowing ABC televise it.

So, I liked it. I know it would be exciting for the couple to announce they eloped or were expecting a baby, but that will probably never happen. I think they will get married and stay together. They seem happy.

Maybe he could say that backstage, after the show. But, then they'd really hear big ole SLAP backstage!

I don't know which one would be worse? Hearing he doesn't know why she wasn't the one. Or hearing that he knew early on but had to play the game of the show and he led her on all that time? Only she was too stupid and thought it was real all that time?

I love how Catherine said that she's a traditional girl and wanted to be asked to marry Sean, BUT she covered all her bases and sent him a letter so he knew the answer was "yes" .

BTW, I am not surprised at the quickie wedding. My guess is that they are both ready to be ride of their virginity, "born-again" or original. I know I would! They are a super hot couple.

Yes, I missed the montage of scenes (with some hokey music) from their previous dates. What happened to that?

Filming starts any day now.

I believe it's already started filming if premires in the summer. They usually are done 3 or 4 months before it airs.

Every single Bachelor or Bachelorette has done that though. It's the show, and in their contract. I have a feeling Sean would have loved to do that, and was so grateful and happy when he finally had the chance to tell the world that Catherine was always the only one.

But, nearly all of them didn't say as much as he did. He went over the top. I remember Trista saying she couldn't tell either guy that she loved them even though they said it to her. She said she couldn't say it to Ryan even though she wanted to. Because she couldn't also say it to Charlie.

THAT was how to play the game right, and let the guy down in the end. After the initial shock of it all Charlie DID realize she never said or reciprocated back the feeling HE said to HER.

Sean was saying to each of them that he could see them in the future together. He even told Lindsay he loved her AS he was breaking up with her.

And I do believe he told AshLee he had more feelings for her than he had for the other two.

And he said to Lindsay, "I need you to know how hard this is for ME." Like it wasn't for HER?????? She was the one being dumped. Sean was about himself in that moment. HIS pain. How much it was hurting HIM. How she perceived him. THAT was when she told him to stop talking.

You could tell during ATFR, she was still stuck on when was the moment that he knew it was Catherine? She doesn't have closure.
