The Attic

On our last BWV trip, we had a boardwalk view. I went for a walk down the hall from our room and at the end of the hall was a sign that said The Attic. There was a room that is kind of like the sitting area at the BCV entrance but this is waaaay secluded, no through traffic. There's a balcony over Jellyrolls also. The night I walked down there there was no one around, the door was closed but unlocked. It appeared there was some party earlier but had not been cleaned up so I got a botled water, looked around and left. The next eve I went down there and there was a wedding party sign up so I didn't go in.

I've never heard anyone talk about this room or seen it in any literature. Is this a booking only room or can you go sit in there if nothing is going on? It was very quiet there.

Originally, this was going to be a "member lounge". Plans changed. It is now used, as you discovered, for private parties. It's not generally open to the public. You were lucky you got to "sneak a peek".
