The Arch in Cabo question

What is the best way to get to the beach at the Arch in Cabo on our own? TIA!

In Cabo you tender. You get off the tender in a little marina area, there there's a number of companies that are going to talk you into getting on their boat. Me and my friends got one, we got it for about $5-10 a person, then after he dropped us off at beach.
We were on a little fishing boat thing (we're crew and we wanted to get there quick, cheap and easy), but the more you're willing to pay, the better the options of boat...

Water taxi- there are numerous options once you get to the dock. Ask to go to Lovers Beach and they'll get you there.

Beware that the water in the area is pretty choppy because of the geography, so be prepared for that.

The day we were in Cabo in May the surf was much too dangerous to go to Lovers Beach. There were plenty of boats that would take you out there to look at it from a distance but no one was actually dropping off.

Piggy backing on this thread since we're looking to do this and get dropped off at Medano Beach. But I'm a little worried about getting off and back on the boat in the water. Kids will be 5 and 9. Is it usually not a big deal? I saw a YouTube video of a small boat capsizing as people were either trying to get in or out of the boat, but maybe it was just the ocean conditions that day and a rare occurrence.

I did a kayaking port adventure and we kayaked from around Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Beach Resort to Lovers Beach and the tour guides gave us all enough time to even walk over to Divorce Beach before we headed back. On that same cruise they canceled one of our port stops so we returned to Cabo a few days later and I did the Harbor Scenic Cruise and we all got a close up view of the Arch.

Piggy backing on this thread since we're looking to do this and get dropped off at Medano Beach. But I'm a little worried about getting off and back on the boat in the water. Kids will be 5 and 9. Is it usually not a big deal? I saw a YouTube video of a small boat capsizing as people were either trying to get in or out of the boat, but maybe it was just the ocean conditions that day and a rare occurrence.

We did Cabo on DCL back in 2012 and while it was just me and my wife it wasn't a big deal. The water taxis pulled right up onto the sand and there was no shortage of people running up wanting to help you off expecting a tip (so keep that in mind). They weren't hard for my wife to climb in and out of and she's only 5'4".

We got a 45-minute harbor tour from one of the water taxis for $20. We didn't even ask - he offered. Did a good job too. Actually pulled all the way out of the harbor. It was a really nice tour especially since it was $20 for 2 people!

Same for us in May. We got to go out to the arch, but no beach drop offs.

The main thing is don't dilly dally. The big "danger" is that the next wave will roll the boat forward and if you aren't clear it can knock you down or even roll one foot under the boat. So when it's your turn to hop out, do it quickly and then move a little away from the boat. I used to help beach boats at there were a little of people that would try to go slowly and place their feet just so in the water and really you just gotta go.
