Kicking my half marathon training into gear!

early morning run. 69 minutes

How do you manage to squeeze in early morning runs? I can never drag myself out of bed and get moving in time.

This morning I spent 30 min on strength and stretching exercises and did 45 min on the treadmill walking and watching an episode of once upon a time. I just started watching it last season when my sister started writing for it and I'm totally hooked. Going back to watch the first few seasons should motivate me to get in some extra walking on my non-running days (I can't run and watch tv. Must have music!!!)180/900

Not too late for me to join right? Newbie here... Been a rough winter here in MA to be a runner so I'm gonna try to get back to my pre ToT 10 miler distances.

49 minutes running yesterday and 108 minutes today. Tomorrow is a rest day - thank goodness!

150 minutes for my long run on Saturday and another 60 minutes walking brings me to 270/1200

I have a 5k on Saturday, a five miler the following Saturday, and a half marathon at the end of May.

Hi all! I love seeing everyone put in some great exercise minutes!
With Passover being a big deal around my house (it started Friday Night/Saturday and lasts 8 days for us ... and we do a lot of prep before and after), I haven't had as much time for exercise as I've wanted, but I got in a great run this morning - 53 minutes running (4.6 miles!) & 25 minutes walking, for a total of 78 minutes.

I think that should put me up at Goofy Orange! If I can keep up these "long" runs 1-2x/week, I should be able to meet my goal!
 
Dug out one of my really 'old'(read "got it in 2006 and probably used it last in 2006 as well") work out dvds and did 55 minutes of that, mostly cardio) for a change of scenery.

40 min run for me tonight. I really gotta get serious or my DH will beat me in our annual 5k in may! I feel so behind because I usually have amuch better base going into any race but this one I've been doing more cross training instead up until about a month ago when i started base building again. with 3 1/2 weeks to go Ive got to figure out a plan. Speed work? Distance? Hills? I'm not just trying to beat DH, Id like to improve my time too (Which is currently 33:11) but also not get injured before starting wine and dine training this summer.

Took a break from running to do a good ol' fashioned p90x workout. I really don't like Tony - DH and I make fun of him constantly. 45 minutes chest and back (pushups and pullups, ugh)!
