Okay I've been planning this trip for a very long time. I was on the phone and on hold for over an hour the day free dining came out:surfweb: . I have switched resorts four times. I have gone over my ADR's:coffee: and made a couple of changes in the past months. I have the days broken down since we don't have hoppers so I had to plan around ADR's and EMH's:cloud9: . I cancelled any ADR's we were not planning on using. I checked my planning sheet and the one I have on the computer. Well isn't one day different between the two:eek: . I had two playhouse lunches booked, cancelled one that I thought I had cancelled before and than realized maybe I cancelled the wrong one originally:guilty: . This would leave me no Little Einstein's meal (DS's absolute favorite):sad2: . It was after the lines closed last night. Well wasn't my night haunted by what if I cancelled it. When I finally fell asleep it was like the huffelump dream sequence only instead of heffulumps it was ADR's and lines of people and clock faces racing into a swirling mess. AHHHH am I losing my mind:scared: ? I must have woke up six times last night thinking I was late....was the white rabbit running through my room with his giant watch:scared1: .
Please let this next week and half pass quickly:hourglass. Maybe it was all the on hold music well I was half asleep trying to make on more ADR, or the pumpkin pie right before bed.
Anyone else get a little strange before their vacation?

Oh sister I soooo hear you! I am a squawking headless chicken for at least four days before a major vacation. I have endless lists everywhere, roped off area in certain rooms named "Don't touch that. That is for vacation!" About 4 hours before I actually leave I have myself worked up to such a freenzy that I start ranting and repeating this mantra "I'll never make it on time. I'll never make it on time." With the occasional glance up at the clock, my heart races, there is a lump in my throat and I KNOW I'll never make it on time. Than comes the Scarlett O'hara moment with the sun setting (really the just the clock ticking), I wipe the sweat from my brow I disclaim in my best southern accent "As god is my witness, tomorrow I will be on vacation, so buckle down girlie and finish packing".

I do declare that I don't actually need a vacation until I start packing for one.

I too am a big planner, but always try to be ready at least 2 days ahead of schedule, and I make a list of exactly what I need to do on the last day. That way feeling of anxiety has less of a chance to work on me. On our last night I always make sure I am finished early and can sit with a couple of glasses of wine before I go to bed....that really helps

Also, one more thing. If one or two things are forgotten in either the luggage or your planning, remember, you are going to DisneyWorld.....the rest will take care of itself. Enjoy!!

I think a big contributing factor is keeping the secret :rolleyes1 from the kids too. Can't start packing. All my calls to Disney and checking has to take place when the kids are in bed and I'm half asleep:surfweb: .
I can't wait...ten more days:cheer2: .
