The answer to wedding stress? 7/26 Wonder Pre Trip report

Hello All! I currently have on hold the 7/26 sailing of the Wonder. It will be paid for tomorrow morning! I guess I will start with the cast!!!

Me (Stacey): A huge "Disney enthusiast" My nan called me a Disney Dork and I had to help her out with a better choice of words! A little bit about me: I teach third grade, am a former Cast member, and love being a mother to my beautiful daughter! This will be my third disney cruise.

Fiance (Ryan): Another huge "Disney enthusiast" Ryan is in his last year of med school and is also a former Cast member. This will be Ryan's 2nd Disney Cruise

Ryan and I met while working in Tomorrowland over five years ago. We will be getting married at the Shades of Green Resort on August 1. YES I said August 1! As in, two days after we get off our cruise!!!

Daughter (Addison) Addison is 2 and let me tell you, the twos are terrible! I didn't believe in that saying, but have quickly changed my mind. Beside from her being a handful, she is very loving and smart (I know I'm biased!) This will be her first Disney Cruise!

Why a Disney cruise? And why so close to our wedding!? Well, it was kind of a huge snowball effect! Here's the break down!

1. My mom and dad are having Addison while we go to Hawaii on our honeymoon! Isn't that sweet of them! So, my mom calls me Tuesday night and asks if I would like to pay for Addison to go on the Disney cruise with them. Umm... excuse me!? You want to take my daughter who is OBSESSED with the "Mickey Boat" on her first Disney cruise!? That doesn't seem fair, even if you are having her for two weeks while we honeymoon! I mean Addison is obsessed with going on the Mickey Boat. Anytime we leave the house she thinks we are going on the Mickey Boat.

To make a very super long story short. It changed from my mom and dad taking her on August 2 to Ryan and I taking her July 26. Somewhere in the middle of this change my mom and I had 7/12, 7/19, and 8/9 all held at different points, with different combos of people sailing, Addison was the only consistent one!

I thought I had a lot of stuff to do before. Now I have to get ready for this cruise also! It will be worth it. I cannot wait to see how Addison reacts when we pull up to the Mickey Boat and actually GET ON IT!!!! I'm so excited!
