It was a sleep in day and we decided to give our cast member Tim a break. We had some old hopper passes that we thought would have one more day, so we used them to get into MGM.

We just had to satiate our need for speed of R&R coaster, and ended up riding it 3 times within an hour. This time as we made our way to the ride, we passed Toy's Story's green army men. They are my favorite, so it the kid in me bounced by and DH took pictures. We fast passed R&R, got in line, came out and got in line again (honestly, it was only a 10 minute wait both times) By the time we got out the second time, the wait had increased to 30 minutes, and our fast pass was ready to go, so away we went. Three times is my limit though, so we moved on to Millionaire.

We were gifted a fastpass for the up-coming show and it was at a time where the next fast pass was for the following show, so we went consecutively two times in a row for this one. Didn't get in the hot seat, but had loads of fun watching the crowd.

Speaking of fast passes, we were able to have three at one time. I had read that it was possible to have at least two and we did, and then we were gifted at Millionare for a third. We felt like we had one the prize. Too bad it wasn't by means of a hot seat and a Disney cruise.... ah next time.

We only had planned to spend 1/2 day in the park, as we were going to DTD for SHOPPING and the 9:00 Cirque show. We got a quick lunch in the Dophin's ice cream/sandwich restaurant. It was very yummy and large in size.

We caught the long bus ride to DTD. This bus ride did seem long, but we enjoyed it for it showed us part areas we had yet to see by riding on the friendship boats. We got off at the first bus stop at DTD and I made a beeline straight to Once Upon A Toy. My mission: fill the Mr. Potato head box with as much as I could. I managed to cram 51 pieces into the box, a feat I am very proud of. Even the CM that waited on us said I did a great job. Of these 51 pieces were two purple tea cups and two pairs of big shoes, etc... We didn't need the actual potato, as we have several at home. Should have shipped this home, but shipped it back to the hotel instead. No bags to carry.

Then it was on to the main Disney store and I bought all the charms I needed for 3 girls. I have had a sterling silver charm bracelet since the 70's and started one for each of my DD; 3 and 6. I was amazed at how difficult it was to find these charms. We also all have the Italian charm bracelets, so as you might surmise, I spent the piggy bank in this store!!! Shipped all purchases to the hotel.

DH was tired of shopping and, as we thought the hopper passes we had purchased before coming (so we weren't planning on just free-loading on our CM Tim) allowed us into Disney Quest, we separated (foolish man allowing woman in Disney shops with credit cards alone!!!!) until 6:00.

I ended up going to the kitchen and bath shop and found some purchases there when DH snuck up on me. He had been searching for me for about 40 minutes. Apparently, our passes didn't cover Disney Quest.

So, we decided to drink our way back towards Cirque. We stopped in Rainforest Cafe. I had a strawberry daquirii (I have discovered from this trip the yummy and smooth taste of coconut rum!) From there we meandered towards Cirque in and out of all the shops. We then stopped at House of Blue. It was packed with diners, but we sat at the bar. Again, coconut rum was my friend and we had a scrumptious appetizer of voodoo shrimp.

By this time, it was closer to show time, so we went to the Cirque gift shop, as I have a friend who loves Cirque shows and, as I had flaunted shamelessly the fact I was going in Orlando... it was only right to bring her back a momento!!! She loved it by the way and I think I have convinced her to take a trip. She is considering March 2004!!

The show was, the show was amazing. There was so much to watch, that by the time I finally got all my vision together, it was over. Definately worth the money and we had great seats. First row next to the sound board. DH was very hesitant about this show, as he is not into going to plays, musicals, etc... The mountain bike rider was a hit, as he leaned over and said, "You didn't tell me there were mountain bikes in the show!" He still concludes that it was amazing but weird. So weird that since we have been back he tunes into the Bravo station productions of Cirque. Ha, he will go again.

Caught the bus back to The Dolphin after the show. No wait, except the bus that came, wasnt' really the one we needed. This one was just going to the Boardwalk. We stepped down to wait when the bus driver motioned us back on. He said it would be like a 30 minute wait, and that he would drop us off at the Dolphin. Again, super special treatment. We were blessed and tired.

Thanks for sharing. Glad you and DH had such a great time at DTD and enjoyed Cirque. I think it is such a wonderful combination, dinner then Cirque and then shopping.

Oh shopping in the world - I have been known to do a little bit of damage there - thanks for posting!
