Well I have lurked on here for many months reading many wonderful PRE TR and TR reports and now that things are finally getting the ball rolling for a trip in a couple of weeks I thought I would start a TR. Hope you all enjoy it!
My DH and I are going for a week in Oct. with his entire family (minus his younger sister. but the way she is spoiled by my in-laws she'll be coming too). I love Disney and slowly but surely my DH is loving Disney too. We are celebrating our first anniv month and we are considering this trip our anniversary trip. Disney is really special to the two of us. Back in 2006, at the last minute my DH, my then DBF, came along to Disney with me. It was that week I knew I could spend the rest of my life with him. Maybe it was all that Disney magic. But he knew it too. 2 and a half months later we were engaged and married 8 months later.
Maybe I should introduce you to everyone going with:
Me- (26) I love Disney almost as much as I love DH. This is our 3 trip to Disney together. Last year we were in Orland for 2 days before we did the Disney Cruise with my family. I know one of these years he's going to make me choose a different location for our vacation. I work full time as a file clerk and spend every free moment I have here on the boards.
DH (31). Total sports nut. Plays softball and basketball. Loves watching any kind of sport on TV. But loves when Im sitting there next to him watching with him
Very laid back. Very relaxed. Go with the flow kind of guy. (opposite of me. I want to know what's going on so there are no surprises). He gives me just about anything I can ask for. I told him, he's got to learn how to say no to me or our kids will just walk all over him.
DFIL-I couldn't ask for a better father in law. Very laid back easy going. He is what my DH will look and act like in 30 years. He's always up for a good time.
DMIL- let's see how do I be nice here. he he. I know she has good qualities. But when it comes to me, she's very rude. I can never do anything right but yet if its in front of my DH she falls all over me. FAKE..that's the word I was looking for. I could go on for days about her. but we'll just leave it like that.
DBIL1- I dont know what to say about him. Hes a good guy. When it came to planning this vacation, I was ready to strangle him. But we always have a great time when we are together.
DSIL1- I love her to death. We work together and couldn't be happier that she is my SIL. She's a great mother and a fun girl. She is looking forward to this vacation as it's been the first in years that is hasn't been a "baseball stadium" vacation
DN1-4 years old. Shes our little "town boy". he he She loves to play sports and the complete opposite of her twin. She wont wear anything girlie. Her favorite colors are blue and green.
DN2-4 years old. Shes the princess. Loves babies, princess, anything pink or purple, jewerly, make up. If you wanted a defination of a girl..she is it. She cant wait for this vacation.
DBIL2- the youngest of the 3 brothers. Hes a police officer. He just got married in May. Hes a lot of fun. Hes more of a partier. It took a lot of convincing by his wife and us to get him to come with us. But we are sure glad hes gonna be there.
DSIL2- love her too. Shes great. Great sense of humor. Fun to be around. Ive been in the family the shortest amount of time and she welcomed me with open arms. Im glad to have her as a sister in law and a friend.
WOW. That was a lot. I should probably take a break and get back to work right now. I will add more as soon as I can. I hope you guys will join me on this adventure. (and with my in-laws, I know it will be an adventure) and Ill have pictures when I get on my home computer.
