~ The Amazing Race ~ Season 16 ~

Actually, I was referring to the comment about the cops orchestrating the u-turn. I don't think of B and C as one of the nicer teams.
OK, now I get it! :thumbsup2

And the more I think about it, the more it seems to be the cops did set the whole thing in motion. They relayed the tiara comment to Caite, using a very mocking tone of voice. I looked back at that episode and it never actually showed Carol/Brandy making the comment, so we really don't know if she said it in the mocking tone in which it was repeated to Caite, or if it was said as a joke, as Brandy claims in a TV Guide interview. Other teams joked about the beauty pagent flub, too, but those comments didn't seem to be relayed to Caite. Why repeat Brandy/Carol's comment, unless you want to start something between two teams? :confused3

Then there were other episodes where Mike and Louie talked badly about Carol and Brandy with Caite and Brent, before the most recent episode. And of course, their comments after the U-turn, "they did what they were supposed to do". They seemed to spark the flame and enjoyed feeding the fire, but I wonder why they disliked the lesbians so much from so early in the game? Unless they really did see them as a threat because of their travel experience?

I still like the brothers the best, but I think the cowboys just shot up to second place in my book. I still like the cops and don't blame them for being sneaky, it's a race, after all, but I prefer the integrity of the cowboys, even though I can't stand their hats, giant belt buckles and corny sayings. :rotfl2:

I don't remember who all repeated that part if Caite's speech but it happened in the very first episode.

I didn't realize until Sunday night that there were other versions of TAR. Do they also travel around the world or do they stay more local to their country?

I watched a couple episodes of the Argentina AR, I found them on facebook and then watched online, they traveled in south America, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brasil, they had really cool challenges its in Spanish of course but you can check them out on facebook.

It was one of the Brothers, he told one of the girls about Catie, the girls didn't even noticed yet, but after that the girls were making comments every here and there about air head and saying dahhh.

One of the brother's did it.

Can't recall--thought they did it for Carol and Brandy--they did it for someone.

But then C&B just took off with it and woudln't shut up about it in several episodes. I find it hard to believe that they kept such comments in complete privacy and of course, were ratted out to Caite.

Just goes to show--don't ever say something you don't wish to be repeated as it can come back to bite you in the butt.

While the brother can do the speech verbatim--I'm not sure he ever said anything mean about Caite (that we have seen) for the duration of the race.

Thanks, PD, I'll have to go check my channel guide to see it I have it. I watch ESPN Desportes, so maybe.

You should, DH watch it too, he likes to learn Spanish (after 10 years he should had :rolleyes1:laughing: ) Have fun, let me know how you like it.

Your DVD didn't mess up; anything that ran late didn't affect the scheduling; most important - you didn't miss anything!!!!

The ACM Awards (Live from Las Vegas) air tonight at 8 PM on CBS. Amazing Race returns at its regular* time next week, April 25.

*assumes no stupid/silly/annoying sports competition runs over its allotted time and throws off the IMPORTANT shows.

What? What are you trying to say? Can anybody translate Kurby's post? It appears to be coming through in that Invisible Gibberish font again...

She said we Canadians don't need to worry about 60 minutes running late. :rotfl2:
