The Amazing Race 7...official Thread

I don't put too much credence in the spoiler for the winner, but that team could possible be top three. Now that I would believe could leak out since all three teams finish in the U.S. and lots of people could possibly notice them racing to the finish line. I doubt the winner would leak since only the people at the finish line would know and they could easily trace it back to someone.

Not completely true--you would have Phil and the other teams, several camera people at various points, the producers, film editors, etc. Maybe 50 people total. Let's say they all hae confidentiality clauses in their contracts (likely), I think it would still be tough to keep it from a spouse or SO, who then might blab. I jsut think the circle of "suspects" gets pretty wide, pretty quick. But you can bet, if the spoiler is true, that the producer is trying to track down the blabbermouth even as we speak, but it may not be that simple. Say you're involved in the editing, you come home and tell your spouse in confidence, she tells her best friend in confidence, she tells her sister... I just remember with Survivor All Stars, there was a detailed spoiler list that went through week by week, vote by vote. Well, the first 4 or so weeks were corrct, then it started to fall apart--but the final two were correct. Like someone knew the first few (in that case, the first few were seen together) and the last 2, but made up the other stuff.

Regardless, I still find this an interesting show.

Hi all

Glad I found this thread. I will be following it to see everyone's remarks, in case I miss the AR on Tuesday

:banana:

Someone on another message board has come up with an interesting theory/observation. This isn't a real spoiler but just in case... skip this post if you don't want to be spoiled. ;) Highlight below to read this guy's theory.

Start here:

.

If you look at the team pictures on the cbs website:

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race7/teams/

You'll notice that there are 3 different backgrounds: (1) morning at the beach, (2) afternoon at the mountains, and (3) sunset at the beach.

These are the "morning at the beach" teams:

* Ryan & Chuck - Eliminated
* Megan & Heidi - Eliminated
* Debbie & Bianca - Eliminated
* Susan & Patrick
* Ray & Deana

The "afternoon at the mountains" teams:
* Brian & Greg
* Meredith & Gretchen
* Ron & Kelly

The "sunset at the beach" teams:
* Lynn & Alex
* Rob & Amber
* Uchenna & Joyce

Those who have been eliminated so far belong to the "morning at the beach" group. If there is a pattern here, the next team to go home will either be Susan & Patrick or Ray & Deena.

Since Meredith & Gretchen are in the "afternoon at the mountains" group and the guy who came up with this theory doesn't think that they'll be in the final three (and I kinda agree with him), it is more likely that the "sunset at the beach" teams will be the final three.

End

Interesting theory Dolphin_Girl008 I will definately be watching what happens over the next few weeks...but if that is true...it is really too easy to spot...I think the producers wouldn't be so obvious...

Going back to the final 3's race to the finish line, you have to figure alot more than the cast and crew see them racing. Think about the last race. The folks at the pizza place obviously knew who came in when and how far apart the next team came in and left. Then there are the cab drivers, the other people in the subway.....

Interesting observation about the beach/mountains backgrounds though. I'm curious to see if it's true.

You wanna switch cars for one that has more gas! Priceless!!!

I'm cracking up right now watching Romber get on the plane :rotfl:

I agree, they're my favorite team!

My least favorite are The boyfriends by far, so bitter.

Boy what's up with Ray and his hate for the older couple, sheesh what a jerk!

I was so hoping Ray and Deena would go. She's such a whiner and he's such a jerk.

I was kind of rooting for everyone until tonight but the boyfriends and Ray and Deena need to go.

You know the boyfriends are calling them b*****s for getting first place and winning a prize.

So funny when Lynn or Alex said that Rob and Amber are like an STD, you have to protect yourself against them.

I'm so lucky I think I was born with a horseshoe up my ____! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Next week's show is 2 hours - the preview looked great!

So glad whiny Patrick is gone.

So, no one thinks CBS had the airline hold the plane for R&A? They were still at the roadblock at 9:00. They had to drive 25 miles, not on an interstate. Do you really think they made it there by 9:30? I don't. And why was there no "First Place" Prize last week, but there was this week. That's strange.

ETA: I was sooooo hoping for Ray and Deanna to get the boot. Hopefully next week.

I was glad to see Susan and Patrick go. Ray & Deanna and the boyfriends need to be next. That Ray seems like such a jerk. Why would Deanna be with him? :sad2:

Go Rob & Amber :banana: I thought it was GREAT that they won 2 trips and last week the boyfriends won nothing. Romber Getting on the 1st plane was awesome.
