When Rob & Amber arrived at the pit stop I looked at the clock because I couldn't believe the show was almost over. It wasn't -- 9:35. I can't wait until next week to see the actual times.

Gotta love the Robfather. Who else has brought such a mix of villainy and comedy to The Amazing Race?

The POW and the BQ are still favorites -- nice jump from 10th to 2nd! -- and so are the brothers. I hope they improve their standing next week.

Did anyone's heart stop when the POW team went back for the rest of the books, after delivering 112. The girl said 78, and the POW said with conviction, no 68. Then they either went to a commercial or showed another team! ACK! I thought for sure they were going to go back to the library with 68 books. But Kelly? (is that her name?) must of made him do the ACTUAL MATH! LOL

I am so rooting for Rob and Amber this time. I did not like their devious ways in Survivor, but come on people, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to win a million dollars with 20 other personalities competing for the same money by being nice. Chip and Kim were an exception. People who watched the 1st season of AR, Team Guido comes to mind. They were the 1st "bad boys" of the game.

As much as they are devious, even the people who do not like Rob and Amber, HAVE to admit how smart they are so far in the game. Probably one of the smartest I have seen in any of the Amazing Race's.

I can not take the older lady's whining for one more minute! I usually like to see the older couple make it pretty far in the race, but these two can go next week. How does that guy listen to that voice all the time?

I am not a fan of Rob and Amber's, but...I have to say he is being smart to think of ways to get ahead of the others and can't fault him at all for that. I still don't want them to win though.

I was thrilled to see the POW/Beauty Queen go from 10th to 2nd! Way to go!
They are my second favorite team, my first favorite team left last week.

I don't really care much for the older couple, especially her.

The gay guys can go next!! They bug me!!

No FF. Rob loaded all the books to only make it in one trip. Everyone else did multiple trips. They are playing the game very smart.

Also - they got there first...and took all the smallest books...meaning they could load more. The later teams had to take larger books...so they had to make multiple trips.

And I never realized that was Hootie (sans Blowfish, heheh) in the BK commercial! Too funny!

I'm not a Rob/Amber fan...never was. But they are running a pretty good race. The really got ahead when Amber did the shoeshine so quickly. (Nice twist on whoever finished first, got the tickets to the first flight out)

Gretchen's whining annoys me...I was yelling at the TV for her to just shut it when she was complaining about the price of the fish. (and where the pit stop was, etc...sheesh!)

I like how so far the eliminations have been down to a foot race...much better then someone coming in hours later.

The 78/68 thing cracked me up...poor girl

Oh man.. I totally agree! Gretchen is driving me batty! I'd like to see the mom/son team make it though. I haven't quite formed an opinion on the other teams yet. But I am enjoying watching the gay guys! They are a hoot!

Rob and Amber are great - I hope they go all the way. They are not the only sneaky team on the race (remember the sand piles from the first show!)

The more this show keeps going the smarter the contestants are going to get at trying to keep ahead. You have to because too many times you are at the mercy of taxi and bus drivers and traffic delays. And then those darn bus stations and airports that do not open until 6 a.m. and everyone is equal again. It does keep the show more interesting but come on - no advantage to being way ahead of everyone.

I ditto that one....not only did that line crack me up but when they read "who loves shoes" and they looked perplexed and said "we both LOVE Shoes" LOL

Im sorry I don't know the one ladies name yet...the couple that said they have had trouble getting pregnant...Uchon? I know it is a different name...anyway I think she should have just moved a little more trying to get shoes shined....she just kinda stood there and whined.....doesn't anyone want me to shine their shoes....waaa that annoyed me...

I don't understand why people are saying Rob and Amber shouldn't be allowed to be in the game because they already won. Yeah.. they won Survivor.. totally different game. If they are going to use that mentality, does that mean we should make a rule that a movie or actor that wins a Golden Globe should not be able to win a Oscar since they have already won?

I don't think Rob is doing anything sleezier than anyone else has done in the past years.. or anything sleezier than the team that told another team to dig for a time in a pile they *knew* was a later take off time in the first episode. (Who was that.. the blondes that won leg one?) Of course, the shame goes to teams that actually trust others that much when there is a million dollars at stake.

He was correct...112+68=180. I was LMAO at that part, because DH and I often have similar addition-related conversations, but in reverse

I am LOVING Rombuh. They just crack me up. I laughed really hard when he said the thing about the other 3 teams chipping in to bribe the bus driver while he pocketed his $$. That was classic!

First off. I'm glad the whining little girls are gone. Felt bad for the guys who "befriended" them that they were the ones to out run them to the finish, but oh well, it's a game people.

Secondly, I'm loving Rob and Amber. They are humorous. They are nice to one another and they are playing the game. Period.

Thirdly, it's a toss up who I'd like to see go next. Probably little miss beauty queen and sidekick. Yeah, she's gonna get far in life not being able to add something that easy. How embarassing.

I have mixed feelings on the fertility couple and the boyfriends as to who I'd like to see go. She is just lazy, IMO; while they are just grating on my nerves.

Question for the general public: How is it that the mother/son team didn't seem to have money for anything and were always begging for money? (I know the one time it was only that they didn't have the money of the region), but what the heck are they doing with their money -- no one else has had a problem and their money hadn't been taken away from them.

I have tried to have an open mind about Rob and Amber, I hated them on Survivor and I just can't get past it now. I actually dislike Amber a whole lot more than Rob. I love the POW BQ team, and not sure about the other teams.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. The pack is so big at this point, why alienate a team now? Ron & Kelly would have already been at least a hour later than Debbie & Bianca. I just doesn't make any sense to me. Here's what I think is happening: Rob and Amber have made it "open season" on screwing the other teams at every turn. He's also bringing other teams in on his little plans (the bus station guard and the driver). I hope they watched enough Survivor to know that he will turn on them in a Boston minute.

The more this show keeps going the smarter the contestants are going to get at trying to keep ahead.

I agree with you about the smarter teams. However, I don't think that dirty tricks and back-stabbing makes a team smarter. What made Rob and Amber so successful on Survivor (and now on AR) is Rob's ability to make you feel like his buddy while he is busy plotting against you and Amber's "who me?" innocent look which she has down to a tee. In addition, they are really smart. I can't deny that.

I just don't want Amazing Race to turn into Survivor Around the World in 30 Days. It's a much better show when the teams play fairly.

Rob & Amber being on this show drew me in and I love it. I think it is an exciting show.
