On March 1, eleven Teams of two people, each with a pre-existing relationship, will set out on THE AMAZING RACE around the world to compete for one million dollars. They'll never know where they're going next or what they'll have to do once there. Each pair's relationship will be forever changed by their experience in this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

I know alot of people are opposed to Rob and Amber being on this one, but from the previews, it looks like they will add alot of comedy, and I for one can't wait!

I think it should be interesting to see "Rambuh" in action. The style that won them Suvivor won't work here, and Rob, in particular, is never dull (love him or hate him!). I'm reserving judgement until I at least see how they approach the race.

I'm so excited Will the 1st show be a regular 1 hour episode or will it be 2 hours (crosses fingers for 2 hours!)? I'm excited that "Romber" will be on the show...I loved the holy cannoli comment!

As my alter-ego says...

"The preview looks interesting, especially the team of Boston Rob and Amber, formerly of Survivor. I'll have a built-in team to root against (HATED Rob on Survivor!), but I fear they'll be good at this game. It will be interesting to see how he acts when confronted with foreign cultures and non-English speakers. The guy's pretty dumb, but apparently that doesn't mean much when it comes to winning this Race."

The only thing I don't like about AR7, is it seems it is already:

I'm rooting for the POW from Desert Storm.......forget Romber!

I think Rob and Amber will add comedy to the show too, I just hope they don't overshadow all of the other teams. I'm excited about Ron (the POW) being on the show.

Anyone else sad when the final episode comes around? I know someone has to win, I just love watching them race every week and hate for it to come to an end. Thank goodness they're not making us wait too long between AR 6 & 7.

Have you checked out the teams on the CBS website? Looks like an interesting group and they have the first ever mother-son team. I'm predicting the next horrible couple will be Ray and Deana. Here's a quote from their bio: Ray & Deana are a dating team. Ray is a stockbroker and Deana is a marketing and promotions executive. Their primary motivation for participating in this Race is to put their on-again/off-again relationship to the test and see how they fare. Ray, who is 17 years older than Deana, has worked as a stockbroker for 18 years. A former college and semi-professional football player, Ray describes himself as cocky and admits that he’s never wrong about anything. He enjoys weightlifting, singing and karate. Deana is admittedly just as determined and competitive as her teammate. Deana’s favorite hobbies include lifting weights, karate, hunting and fishing.

Ha, ha, gotta love a guy who thinks he's always right and dates a woman whose hobbies involve guns!

But I'm really looking forward to Rob and Amber - can't wait to see how that relationship has held up in the real world.

Can't wait. Big fan since AR 1. I like Rob and Amber, it will be nice to have a familiar team to root for at least from the beginning until some of the other teams stand out.
