My memory may be failing me (can't remember if it was Uchenna or Ron), but when Gretchen and Meredith were begging for money and Rob didn't give them any, the other (Ron I think) said something like "well when we get further along, we'll see if we can give them anything". So, I think he will respect Rob/Amber if they don't give them any.

I think it was Ray that said that, not Ron.

That was Ray who said "maybe later". I don't remember what Ron said to them. Like someone else said, R/K probably won't be seeing any of the other teams at the pit stop. They were (I'm guesssing) at least 10 minutes behind R/A. You know R/A are going to high-tail it out of there, not waiting around for R/K. They might catch up quickly at a train station or airport, but they're going to need some money before getting there.

Had to laugh at Rob tonight. His plan sure backfired.

Rob had me CRACKING UP at him. Big mouth got him into trouble. I hope he watched last night and slapped himself in the head a few times. Having Joyce/Uchenna & Gretchen/Meredith beat Rob/Amber last night was suh-WEET! Maybe now he'll be a bit less arrogant. Wait a minute...nahhhhh.

I was worried there for a minute about Romber...I am just wondering...where do meredith and gretchen keep getting all their money from? I mean plane tickets are not cheap! And does anyone have a theory why ron/kelly and rob/amber were never told about the earlier flight even after checking with 2 different travel agencies???

The show pays for the airplane tickets. I think that they have a special Amazing Race credit card that pays for the tickets. The money is for cab and train fairs and food at places other than pit stops.

If I rember correctlly R/A and R/K were not going to Travel Agencies they were going to the Air lines there in the Airport. Because the guy keep saying that they "Turkish Air" only had one flight, and there on the wall behind them was the Turkish Air emblem. It was fast but I think I remeber hearing Rob say "Lets go talk to Turkish Air." U/J called a TA on the phone, that was how they were able to find the earlier flight.

And can you believe how close they all arrived on the last leg. Joyce shaved her head for a "2" minute lead. Yikes

I suspect thet lost a lot of valuable time searching for the temple.

That site cracks me up when they all find pics from everywhere...once they did things you would find in Victorias back pack...when she was afraid to leave it and then they were SO HEAVY she couldn't carry them.....I think one pic was a Anchor...LOL

Like someone else said, the producers pay for the tickets, but as far as where they get their money from, they were only penalized the one leg, after that they have been getting money on every leg.

In the previews it shows Uchenna helping Meredith with a boat.....I can't believe any of the teams would help each other at this point....maybe that's a nice thing to do but this is a race! Same goes for giving Ron/Kelly any money, why, oh why, would you want to help your competition?
