THE AMAZING RACE 15, ~Season Premier~ 09/27/09 pg 64!

I wonder if I could actually pee while running? Is that like chewing gum and patting your head?

Well, I know the kids in my class are sure good at it(peeing while running), but maybe it gets harder as you get older. I would sure have held it if I knew the other team was right behind us.

there are some very funny taxi cab confessions-- laugh out loud funny.

I am unhappy that J/K were eliminated and don't really have an interest in the finale.

What I want to know is why didn't Keisha do the roadblocks-- was it a rule? or because they had split them at 5/4 and Jen doing the eating one would even them out?

Did Jen really eat the starfish shell and not just the inside like everyone else? If so, that is probably why it took her 30 minutes to eat everything and why she drank 4 bottles of water.

I give Cara props for eating all of the 'food' in 7 minutes, she rocked that roadblock.

As long as it isn't Luke and Margie who win I won't be angry. Tammy and Victor had darn well pull the win otherwise they sabotaged Jen and Keisha for absolutely nothing.

Grace, aren't there spoilers at that website? I don't want to know who wins just to see some background video.

No spoilers on that page, just the videos that are available from the CBS website sans the difficulty and annoyance of the CBS site.

The spoilers are on another thread on that site which is why I warned last week to not poke around unless you want to be spoiled.

For $1,000,000, I am sprinting to the finish line with pee dripping down my leg!:laughing: Note to self: Pack the Depends if going on the Amazing Race.;)

My girlfriend and I are applying for AR. We did our video last night and we talked about bringing Depends! :rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

BEST RECAP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:rotfl::rotfl::thumbsup2

T&V had a huge advantage the last two weeks..... but last week the other teams benefited. In other seasons some of the teams spoke multiple languages. I was one of the loudest on the can't stand Victor side early in the race but he has really turned it around :)

I finally warmed up to T&V also. He has really changed his attitude, kind of like the father and daughter team that was on AR. He changed his overbearing attitude too.

Am I the only one who want Jamie and Cara to win? :lmao:

I think so :rotfl::rotfl: They make me :headache:

A agree except that Margie is their biggest competition; Luke is useless.

I kind of agree with you. Luke seems to depend on Margie for tasks that he could do on his own. I was peeved that he refused to do the food challenge, he never chooses the tough ones.

For a million dollars I would have risked being called "Pee Pee Pants" for the rest of my life!

:lmao::lmao:

OMG! What a tough race for K&J! I don't like them but was trying to pull them forward after they came from so far behind! I don't know if I could bring myself to pee and run but I think it would be a long ride home if I lost with my pants down...so to speak ;)

I think I want T&V to win now. I cannot stand Margie and Luke anymore, C&J make my head hurt.

OK :). I think that you should probably say that each time you post that link. Not everyone reads every post every week and may not want to be spoiled :scared:. Thanks!

After watching this, I told my DD "We have just witnessed the first million dollar pee."

From what I understand, there are those who run marathons that pee while running. It's doable if you forget your social graces. ;) For a million dollars and in that get-up I would have done it.

I can not believe she chose peeing over a million $$$$$!!!!! What is wrong with her!!!?!??!?
She deserves to go home! Luke and his mother really NEED to go home too. they're obnoxious...

So I've been thinking about Jen and her million dollar potty stop...and not to be too disgusting, but you know when you drink a lot of water and then hold it for a long time, sometimes when you finally use the potty, other bodily functions also need to take place...so maybe she really had to use the bathroom? Just a thought.....

I saw on the cbs videos (I think that's where it was) that Cara did that eating Roadblock in just 7 minutes! Most of the other teams took about 30 minutes to do it.

I am less upset about the pee v/s her continuing to eat the stuff in little bitty pieces with Cara wolfing it down next to her. Push it down and ralph it back it. I'd rather puke up nasty insects/sea stars than pee on myself. PLUS ... the reason why she drank so much is that she used a swig of water to wash down ever tiny little piece.

I bolded the part that confused me because it did appear that no one else ate the whole starfish but only the insides? I know it is edible because I have seen folks on other shows (Andrew Zimmern and Samantha Brown) eat the entire starfish. If that is the case, why didn't the others eat it also - were they told by someone they didnt' have to eat it? Can anyone who has TIVO or a lot of time on their hands find out more on this?

OK, I really don't have enough time on my hands to do this, but I was curious, too, so I rewatched it on the DVR, using slo-mo when needed. :happytv:

There is one shot where it looks like there is no starfish shell on Jen's plate, but 2 others after it, where it looks like there is. They could have shown them out of order, but one was right as they said they were done and got the clue. Of course, it's a tiny nanosecond glimpse, so I'm not sure if I saw it correctly or not. :confused3 Weird.

I couldn't find anything where any team was told one way or the other to eat it or not to.

Here's the final Elimination Station. It seems that EVERYONE was rooting for Kisha and Jen. When K&J called it looked like Jen was going to burst out in tears. They must have called right from the mat since they still had their make-up on.

BTW ... Maui experts ... does that look like the Sheraton to you?

Maybe T&V did have an advantage but any of the contestants could have learned a second language.
Every contestant HAS to know a second language, well enough to converse in it. Tammy's just 'happens' to be Chinese (Mandarin?) :teeth:

Where are you getting this information from? I looked at both the Eligibility Requirements and the application on the Amazing Race website and nothing is mentioned about needing to know a second language. You have to be available to travel 30 - 40 days, have a passport, be willing to get immunizations, but nothing is mentioned about speaking a second language. The application does ask if you know another language, but it certainly doesn't seem to be a requirement. I can't believe that all of the past contestants could speak another language.

I specifically remember Steve & Linda saying that they do not know another language.

Here's a link to Keisha and Jen's interview after the race, Jen swears the bathroom break did not cost them the million LINK FIXED

It is a pretty comprehensive interview and NO spoilers.

AWESOME interview-I fixed the link in the quote. THANKS!
