THE AMAZING RACE 15, ~Season Premier~ 09/27/09 pg 64!

I don't think the ending was so close that the bathroom stop made a difference. When the sisters hit the mat, Cara & Jamie were already gone. It takes Phil several minutes to check in a team, then the producers do some Q&A filiming. If C&J were in the area, the sisters faces would have shown "it". When they hit the mat, they looked very hopeful.

AR is very much about "drama". Drama = better ratings.

I'm wondering how long between--How many "seconds."

I would like to think I'd pee on myself before letting that happen.

So the redheads aren't only rude in other countries? I'm shocked I tell ya. I was impressed by the redhead during the eating challenge though--She was rockin!

Don't really care who wins. Not really a fan of any of the finalists. Tammy and Victor have played the best, but they had a HUGE advantage.

T&V had a huge advantage the last two weeks..... but last week the other teams benefited. In other seasons some of the teams spoke multiple languages.
I think it's one of the eligibility qualifications - each contestant has to be able to speak at least one language in addition to English.

I don't think so. I haven't noticed that any of the other top 4 teams speak a foreign language. I could be wrong though.

I think you're right. Most racers only speak English. Unless you count the broken Spanish (Spanlish) some of the racers use.

I like Tammy & Victor and hope they win, BUT I was so annoyed they used the uturn on Keisha and Jen! Have they not realized that Margie and Luke are their biggest competition? This would have been the perfect chance to get rid of them!! I hope Tammy & Victor win, but if not, I'm just really hoping its not Margie and Luke.

I for one am glad K&J have been eliminated. They created the whole fight/argument with M&L and there is no place for that in a show like this. They frankly should have been disqualified as physical violence should not be tolerated.

I think we are watching different shows.

A agree except that Margie is their biggest competition; Luke is useless.

I agree. Tammy and Victor wasted that u-turn. Margie and Luke have come in 1st many times. Keisha and Jenn have been toward the back a lot.

:thumbsup2 ::yes:: Right. "Seconds" are the legs with teams on the mat next to each other.

probably about five or six hundred! ;)

So disappointed that Margie and Luke made it through to the final 3. Tired of seeing their whiny faces on TV every week. This week, I actually felt a little bad for Luke though. Margie is such a control freak. She couldn't let him put on the makeup without constantly looking and complaining. I was glad when he said "I quit", or something like that. Who cares if it's perfect? :sad2: She is such a witch. Really hope they crash and burn on the this last leg and don't win.

Jen is an idiot. There is no other way to explain it. She drug her feet at the eating challenge, losing precious time, and then, knowing that the other team is on their heals, actually stops to pee. What a freaking moron. They deserved to be eliminated for that. You have a change of close and you can shower at the rest stop. :headache:

I'm impressed with the way Victor has grown in the treatment of his sister. I didn't care for him in the beginning, but I really like them now and they they work so well as a team. Hoping they win!!!

The cheerleaders are so annoying. I can never tell them apart, but the one who is so insulting to every foriegner she meets and every cab driver. :sad2: Love the preview for next week!! :rotfl: Finally someone who understands them and can put them in their place!!! :thumbsup2

I dunno...maybe Margie was a control freak last night because she is not used to seeing Luke actually do something!:rotfl2:

It was pretty funny last night during the challenge at the restaurant when Victor just couldn't keep quiet and let Tammy repeat the food orders! Even when he said he would let her be the one to tell he still kept saying it!

Except for when she was relaying the order in the restaurant he kept on interrupting her. She must have said something to him because he said something like "OK, OK. I'll let you do the talking!" and then he repeated everything to the chef behind her ANYWAY. I kept on thinking SHUT UP VICTOR and let Tammy speak!

I agree 100%!!!!!

And man - who the hell stops to pee when a million dollars is on the line??!! :confused3 Nobody would've known if she just let her bladder go in that long silk gown anyway. I'd rather be known for peeing on the check-in mat and being in the final three than being the one who stopped to pee and flushed $1million down a Chinese porta-potty!!

I still like Margie & Luke though - at some point all that racing around has got to get to anybody. I think the race is doubly hard for both her and Luke given their circumstances.

T & V used the U-turn on K & J because they knew they couldn't beat them in a footrace at the very end of the race. They figure they could beat Margie in a sprint!

See, I missed that part. I saw the very beginning, when they were taking the orders, but then got distracted for like 15 minutes. She should have turned around and bopped him on the head with the pad she was writing on. :rotfl:

Remember that questions you always hear. "What would you do for a million dollars?". I kept thinking, apparently pee on myself in public and on tv in front of millions, because I would have, if given the choice. :lmao:

I was VERY happy to see K&J go home. I can't stand them. I can't stomach the redheads either. I'd prefer Margie and Luke to win although I'd be ok with Tammy and Victor winning, I just think they have had an unfair advantage the last couple of legs

I don't like Margie and Luke, but Margie was a MACHINE today. My opinion of her racing went way up. Her son is still a whiner and she is still a witch, but she can put the petal to the metal. I think that Tammy and Victor U-Turned the wrong team and I am now afraid that M&L will beat them.
I want Tammy and Victor to win and I agree they made a huge mistake there.

I can't wait for Jamie and Cara to get the smackdown in the taxi!!

I hope Margie and Luke self destruct and come in last.

Again, I think this was just luck that T&V had an advantage. This is the second to the last leg. You better believe that TAR had to plan for this leg MONTHS in advance with the Chinese government. There was always a chance that T&V would have been eliminated earlier and never even have made it to China.

Just like there was always a chance that J&K might have been eliminated before that Russian leg where they had to run a couple kilometers in the cold. Wouldn't you say a running roadblock would have been to their advantage, with them being track stars?

Somebody has an advantage at somepoint...if they are still in it at that point. No use griping about it.
