Claire, Colin, and 2 ds are Dean and Charlie

thanks very much Claire

Claire, can you please include both proper names and DIS names, pretty please? :worship::worship::worship:

I'm confused Jen - thought your DH's name was Alex :confused3 Or is this the 'other one' :lmao:

His real name is Akil, everyone calls him Alex though because its easier! :lmao: If its not too late then putting Alex on his name will prob better :goodvibes

Thank goodness for that, at least I wasn't getting him mixed up with someone else :rotfl:

Speaking as a Dis Meet Virgin I have been wondering how these things normally work.
Obviously there are a lot of us there so I am assuming we wont all be on one table. Do we sit at a table with our own family and just wander around if we feel brave enough? Or are we sat at a table with someone else and just go from there :confused3
Any advice greatfully received as I dont want to be guilty of breaking Dis etiquette :)

Normally they give us one really big table and then we overspill onto nearby ones as needed. We've had a kids only table as well in the past. Generally you sit with your family and then we move round after eating.

Don't forget the secret hand shake. ;)

It's all very relaxed really, we normally move around and chat between courses and return to our seats when the food arrives. it does make it harder for the server but they have always coped in the pasted.

We used to be in a little alcove but I think it's been closed off now.

We will see when we get there.

lime green and mickey ears are optional. :goodvibes

As Tony and Claire have said, it's all very relaxed and informal. We don't have a seating plan and people tend to stick to sitting with their own families. As Claire said, last year we had a 'kids' table which was quite nice and the kids were very well behaved :thumbsup2

Sorry for the delay. I'm Bev and the daughter is Charlotte. :thumbsup2
