While we were at Aulani one of the DVC staff recommended we try The Alley restaurant in Aiea if we visited Peal Harbor. It is actually located within in a bowling alley and we tried, but were tired and couldn't find quick parking and gave up. Just curious if anyone has ever dined there.

We did. It was featured on Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives while we were there and my son REALLY wanted to try it. Yea, the parking is nuts, but inside was even more crazy! I have never seen a bowling alley that was that busy (nor have I ever waited 30 minutes to get a table to eat bowling alley food). My son ordered the ox tail soup that was featured and it was good. We also got some garlic fries and garlic shrimp and the tasty chicken.

After reading your reply I found a few clips referencing the episode you mentioned....now I wish we would have gutted it out and waited to eat there, looks great and I love off the wall places like that. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely was off the wall! I'm glad my husband made us wait to eat there as if it had been up to me, I NEVER would have waited 30 minutes to eat at a bowling alley LOL (I didn't watch the show that they did either).

Yes, parking is nuts there but it's a fun place. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to go there but we've eaten there. I had a burger which was so gross, but everyone else had great food - can't recall what now. But we did get a spam fried rice (or maybe it was noodles?) to share as a pupu and that was delicious.
