The All New Pop Century FAR OUT FAQ Thread!

So is there anything that is new since the beginning of this year at the Pop? Do they have anything else in the lobby or in the store? I am wondering what to expect. I wanted to also ask if anyone knew what the average is per meal if you eat in Everything Pop for each meals. I think I might be close with...

Breakfast if shared between two people about $8 ???
Lunch/ Dinner for two Around $15 for both ???

a great way to gauge meal costs would be to check out the menus (w/prices) at allearsnet.com

we found the food at everything pop to be satisfactory... portion size was ample and prices were reasonable by disney standards... buying mugs helped keep each meal costs down...

oh, and to anyone heading to pop... don't forget to try the twinkie tiramisu... it's EXCELLENT!! (tie dye cheesecake was fun to eat, but not as delish as the tiramisu!)

Hi, all,

Does anyone know about where the Twister is located in the 70's section? Would like to put in a general request for this area, but before I do want to be sure it's not too long a walk.

Thanks!

Where can I locate a map of the property on the boards or Disney website to see the proximity of the Pop Century to the All Stars, Caribbean Beach & the parks?

Thank you.

WDWINFO has just about all the info you need. This map is listed with "resort maps"

There is more than one Twister game area in the 70's section. We saw 2, anyone know if there are more? We were on the side with the giant big wheel (not sure if that's the A or B building.) Our room was 0402. There was one Twister game at each end of the fooseball players on our side of the courtyard. Anyone know if there were 2 on the other side too? We didn't notice.

Thanks, Karen..this might sound silly, but the reason I wanted to request that area is because I saw a photo of a twister and there were palm trees all around - love to go to FL and see plam trees even from a POP room!!!

Thanks again!

Go to Tools, and click on WDW Map -it is a pop up and if you glide your mouse over each area it will tell you which resorts are located there.

I'm sure Tyler will give a better and more exact answer, but CRO told me is it near Wide World of Sports but kind of behind CBR - so close that she said you can see it from some of the rooms at POP. Also, I thought it was very far away, one of the farthest on property but CRO said it's relaly not far from EPCOT and MGM - she said that it's almost considred an EPCOT Resort - which was news to me, but then wheat do I know anyway???

I am trying to change my December stay to the POP from POFQ to save $$$. If I can get it my email code (which is mostly sold out except for POFQ , CSR & POR).

Or anyone who might know :)
Just wondering if you could tell me which area of 60's is not preferred? Would it include the farther end walking past the pool?

Thanks!

Unless its been changed without my knowledge, buildings 4 and 5 (1960s) are Preferred Buildings. There are no such thing as preferred rooms, just preferred buildings.

The map that WDWinfo.com has doesn't have PC on it yet. Look at CBR. To the lower left and connecting to CBR is a lake. I believe that is hourglass lake.

PC and CBR are connected by a tunnel for CMs and are very close together.

PC is fairly central on the property. From the bus times, it looks like one of the better transportation locations for average time.

WOW that really is close to CBR! Much more central than I realized. I do hope I am able to get a ressie for December with my email code!!!

Does anyone know if you can use the Q&C meal vouchers at Pop? We will be there Dec 3-11 and I wanted to make sure before I ordered them.

Thanks

Stephen - thank you!

Do you think you could email a copy of this map to me so I could save it for future reference, please?

If so, thanks in advance:)

Fabulous map!!:bounce: :bounce:
