The furniture in the king bed rooms looks just like the ones on your resorts page -- same armoire, table and chairs, just the one king bed with two nightstands on either side. Our bath was exactly like the one you've pictured.

Our room would be like the one pictured on the left side of the connecting rooms in the schematic.

How's this?

I really hope my DH and I can get a king bed the first through last night. In Dec last year on our honeymoon we had to get two doubles for two nights, it kinda sucked. We heard so much about special things that they do for honeymooners and we didn't get anything. I thought for sure they would do a little something extra for us. oh well. Pop staff was nice though so we didn't have that many complaints. I guess I won't call in though to ask about it. I'll just ask when we get there. I dont' think it will be a problem when we go in Jan. It's not going to be as crowded as Christmas was. I hope at least!!

Tyler, If you were forced to guess, how much wider is the bathroom with the rollin showers? you said the stool faced the door instead of being in and to the left, correct?

My guess is that the wall would be where the edge of the king bed is in the standard room.

And yes, if you were on the throne, you'd be facing the connecting door.

Your schematic of the standard bath King is perfect! Looks just like our room in 80's A.

Hi

I am new to this board and this was such a GREAT post...thanks Tyler....my family and I are staying August '05 there and are very excited...ok...my question....is there a map available to show the resort layout...not the one to show location of the resort amongst all the other Disney properties, but of the actual resort...thanks bunches...::MinnieMo

Holy Cow...that was GREAT...I actually looked at your other listing (Resort Maps) and did not see it....THANKS!!!! boy, I really cant wait...your pictures were wonderful...thanks again::MinnieMo

The other listing points to the DIS boards resort maps page. I don't know why they don't have it posted yet.

Glad you liked it.

just a tiny adjustment on your room floorplan... in a regular bathroom (not handicapped equipped) the door does not swing in to hit the toilet, but rather swings in against the wall... i hope what i typed makes sense 'cause i have no skills to actually illustrate it! LOL!

thanks for the great job you did w/all the floorplans and such of pop century! for the newest resort, i think it has the most info on the web! great job :)

but I can't find it!!! What address do I use for getting online driving directions? The one listed on the first page doesn't work!?

Also, Tyler what bus route are you doing right now? I'll try to look for you!

THANKS!!!
Kayla

6000 W. Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, Florida 34746

It's for the Gaylord Palms, about a mile or two away. That's the closest MapQuest can get you.

Using Expedia.com, you can use:
Victory Way, Orlando FL, 32830.

Just be sure to double check that it doesn't bring up the Downtown Orlando address.
