I want to add a refrigerator to my Pop room and I have a couple of questions...

1) Does it need to be for the entire reservation or can it be a portion thereof?

2) [oddball question] Anyone have pics of their fridge opened and with things in it? LOL. I just want to see what we can fit. (ie: Gallon of milk or go for the 1/2 gallon... freezer space etc)

3) If I add the request to my ressies will I get one for certain? Or is it a 'very limited availability' kind of thing?

Thank you!

Yes, it can be for a portion of the reservation. If you place a credit card on file, you can then call Housekeeping at any portion of your stay to request it, and have it removed.

Oh Master Tyler :worship:

Let's see how fast you are with this one:

I'm budgeting my at WDW expenses (meals, souveniers, extras) to the high side. I will be depositing traveler's cheques to my room account.

On the night before check out I plan to get what ever is still left on the account so I do not have to go to the desk the following morning.

So, how does Pop administer funds? Is it cash only or can they provide a check?

I won't have a credit card so the remainder cannot be placed on to that. Is there a way of applying the money to ATM check card?

Too confusing?

Hope to see you on the bus in December.

They will refund it back in the same method that it was originally. Travellers Cheques will be paid back in cash.

At 1:30 in the morning?

The transportation gods must have given you the night shift.

At Pop, I had a morning bidline, and had a sweet schedule that allowed me to take a few classes at night. But the ones I needed to take are only offered during the day... soooooo... I'm now going to school almost full time during the day... and working nights. Joy. Fun.

I'm actually a night owl anyways. It took me three years to finally adjust to mornings, all to be broken. LOL :) It's all good.

Tyler I am so glad that you have time to keep this thread going. I have gotten so much great information from you:teeth:

We are going to POP during Christmas and I was wondering what the normal temps (if there is such a thing) for that time of year. It will be better than Maine no matter what:earboy2:

Thanks again for taking time out of your busy schedule to give us this great info. CANT WAIT TO BE AT DISNEY:sunny:

Okay Tyler as I can see from this stream you are the info-master of POP. I will be there the week leading up to Thanksgiving with DW and DD (2 1/2). My question is, are any of the POP pools heated, or will they be strictly for decoration during November.

Ok this post is totally useless but I want to go back to Pop Century NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW.

Ok thanks.

Mike

I just returned from POP and while the Hippy Dippy pool was heated on the day of our arrival. But then we had a few days of heavy rains and when we went in it was freezing. The Bowling Pin pool however was very warm despite the rain. I asked a lifeguard about this and she said that the heat had been turned off on the main pool when it had rained and that they hadn't turned it back on.I just returned from POP and while the Hippy Dippy pool was heated on the day of our arrival. It's not in our budget, but I just couldn't resist! Although we didn't get the discount, I booked a room for 4 nights 12/19-23! A quick trip, but we'll make the most of our short time there! Plus, we'll be home in time to celebrate Christmas with the family (gotta keep the peace!!) I was only on hold about 15 minutes - enjoyed the Disney music! They're still swamped with phone calls, but the worst appears to be over!

I just got a PS for Chef Mickey's on Monday 9-20@ 7.10pm We are checking into POP the same day.
I was told the buses will not run to the Contempary Resort. I would have to ride to MK or DTD and then ride a bus to the resort, or the Monorail. Is this true. If so what time would I need to leave POP and would it just be easier to drive? Thanks for any help.

Pools are heated in the cooler months to a temperature of 82 degrees. However, the air will remain in the 40s-50s. At night, you can see the steam coming off them.

Don't worry, contrary to what you may have been told, BUSES WILL BE RUNNING that early, and if you let the driver know, he or she may be able to take you directly to the Contemporary. In the highly unlikely (but possible) event that a driver cannot take you directly, it's a short walk or a short monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom.

You'll want to be at the Magic Kingdom bus stop around 6:30am. This will give you plenty of time. :)

Does anyone know the quickest way to get to the AKL from the Pop???

I am unsure but I think we would take a bus to DTD and then onto a bus going to AKL and then repeat this.

Or would a bus to AK and then a bus to AKL be quicker???

Or is there another possible way I haven't considered???

We want to check out AKL for a possible 2005 trip.

Thank you for the help!!!
