OK friends...so much for my day off from work. I have been on the phone and internet all day! We are finally set for our next visit to the Poly. The airline tickets are purchased so there is no going back now....I hope We are staying GVCL and actually got a great rate which is a bonus.

So we decided Halloween at Disney this year. Now we are not past the ADR date...it gives us an extra month of planning and I get to go back to Disney this year!

I initially had it all booked a week and then I realized that the Miley Cyrus concert was smack in the middle of the trip! Thank goodness I did not book the airfare yet when I realized it! I could not have even sold the concert tickets because they have this new paperless ticket thing that I have to show my cc and ID to get in.

So, everything is set. We are leaving the day after the concert. I figure it will be a nice way to kick off our trip!

Is your head spinning like mine. I even changed my ticker for good! Anyone else going to be during that time?

We'll be there for Halloween too! This is a big family trip. Me and DH, my sister, her husband and 3 kids. We're going to be there October 24 to leaving November 1. We have Magic Kingdom view rooms...hopefully adjoining. We already have our tickets for MNSSHP for the 31st! DH and I already have our Jack and Sally costumes! This is my 4th trip to Disney (1st time at Poly) and my hubby's first time...he has no idea what he's in for. Fingers crossed he becomes an addict!!!

So, yes. Arriving on Oct. 24, leaving on Nov. 1. Heading out to MNSSHP on Halloween.

So is your DH no longer going to be the headless horseman?

This is our THIRD Disney trip of a lifetime. DH just came home from work and after I updated him on all the details he informed us that this was it for a few years... I have heard that twice before!!!

How fun to all be going together and especially for Halloween. We had a blast at MNSSHP two years ago. I can't wait to go back again!

I thought you were thinking of doing the Princess half next March? DH wouldn't deprive you if you do all that hard work and training would he?

His solution was to find a race closer to home...I did one a couple years ago in Wisconsin in February and I thought my lungs were frozen solid by the time I finished, hence my wanting to head to Florida. He was really not keen on me bothering with a race during a Disney vacation so this is a perfect solution for him.

Oh well, I will Marathon my way through Disney eating and drinking instead

Are there Photopass photographers at the Poly?

Didn't see any at the Poly last week. Only saw them at the Poly once and that was last year on the 4th of July taking pictures of the pool, beach.

Unfortunately due to recent circumstances we have discontinued this experience indefinitely. It may be resumed sometime in the future, but at this point there is no word on when this may occur. The safety of our guests and drivers is our first priority and at this time, it is for safety reasons that this has been eliminated.
