Hi everyone! Although we have stayed at the Poly several times, I have a few questions:

1. How much time should we budget if we want to be at DHS for rope drop and we are taking the bus? (we usually rent a car, but not this time)

We went to the bus stop 45 mins to an hour before opening a couple of times and made it with plenty of time to spare (and wait) before the rope drop. We also found it a good time to be picked as the family to open DHS!

Tikiman site closed down in March I believe. I was using it to plan my May trip when he annouced it was shutting down. It was wonderful such a shame. Just double checked my link and it no longer works

No, no. He is still there. He just re-worked it. I think he shut it down for a while and did an April Fool's Day prank "farewell". His site is up (I just re-checked.) Never fear!

It's still there...I think the address might be slighttly different..I know he did some upgrades to the site..I was just on there looking at maps tonight.

In April, 2009 they had mini-croissants at breakfast in the lounge. One other pastry and bagels with cream cheese as well.

Yes and they are delicious! there's also really good cinnamon rolls.

ahh yes, all that great lowfat stuff.... LOL I can hear my Weight Watchers leader screaming in my head already.....

I just hit my 20lb mark -- and feel great!! I can pass up the cinn. rolls no problem, but that punch they put out at 5pm is DANGEROUS!!!! I always take a cup (or two) and throw it in my fridge in my room for the next day by the beach.. LOL
I LOVE that stuff.......

We had no problem last year. We had a half gallon of milk that stayed fresh until we used it up.

I would leave the cabinet doors that the fridge is in open, so the fridge doesn't over heat. Sometimes the fridge over heats sometimes not. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Whew, that's a relief! Caitsmama - way to go on the 20lb - that's awesome! I'm working on losing weight too and just hit the 10 pound mark - it's only been 3 weeks, so I'm hoping by the time I get to Disney, I can cheat a little!
