I just found out about Ridemax software and was wondering what your views are on it. Is it a great tool for DW newbies that I should not go without (as some have told me) or am I just as well off to keep planning out my park visits myself??

I have noticed a lot of people mentioning their FP runners. I know this may sound stupid but I want to make sure that I understand. Does one person rush ahead to a popular attraction to get fast passes for the rest of the family and then meet up with them at another attraction? Is this the norm? I was not planning on us seperating during the trip (or racing thousands of people to fast pass machines
But yes, that's the idea. One person goes and gets FP for a ride that you'll do later while the others head towards something else. And it would be considered line cutting for the FP runner to join their family already in another line. Now, some people do it but that part is a hotly debated topic around here. When we have done the FP runner strategy (and we have only done it a few times) it was always while one of us was taking the kids to the bathroom, the other would go grab a set of FP. I am not familiar with Touring Plans, but will look into it. Di you like it better with a progarm, then doing it on your own? Also...what does the "lines" app do??
I also feel the same way about my Disney photos, but regrettably, I've never really taken many with family members in them. This time will be different though...I may even branch out and do some video.
My favourite photo was taken on the way from the bus stop to the entrance/bag check at the MK. It was the first night of our Christmas 2007 vacation, and we arrived much later than we were supposed to (delayed flights due to weather), but we were able to make it in time to go to MVMCP.
I own a Canon PowerShot A720, which is what I used to take the photo with. I'm only a casual photographer, so I don't really have any tips...other than have fun with your pictures!

I use the planning websites more as "educational material" than for an actual step-by-step sequence of rides. I know which rides are best in the mornings, which rides are best to FP and which ones you can save for the evenings. Outside of that, I just go with the flow. I use those sites primarily for the "best parks" features.
ETA: The Lines app from TP gives real time data of what the waits are for each attraction.

I also have a question for my fellow June DISsers...when should I expect the second part of my Mickey Mail? Or is there a second part? I've already received my ME stuff...but no luggage tags (the 'fancy' ones). I thought I'd been reading that they send "Mickey Mail" in 2 parts now, but maybe I'm wrong on this...
