We finally told the kids about the trip through an easter egg hunt. DD was the only one excited. On the other hand DS (4yrs old) said "yup...disney world." DH & I were surprised there wasn't more excitement but I'm hoping it's only because they've never been so they don't really know what they're getting excited over.lol Well at least we can talk openly about our trip now & we can build up the excitement.:thumbsup2

My costs come out to $10.00 per hour or $5.00 per person-not too bad

Popping in to say hello! Got back from Cali Fri. morning however brought back an aweful cold. Will try to catch up on the questions soon. As for the possible change to staying at the campsite that's not going to happen. Just figured it wasn't worth the long drive since the cost was going to equal out. :goodvibes

45 days to go!:cool1:

1) What resort have you stayed at the most?
It's a three-way tie for 1stay at WL and ASMU -- we like staying at different resorts, so next year, it will still be a three-way tie with CBR added :thumbsup2

2) What would be your Disney dream job (character, ride operator, imagineer, etc)?
Prepping the parks for holidays -- I loved the TV special that showed behind the scenes work for Christmas decorations

3) When you think of Disney World, what is the first thing that comes to mind?
Walking down Main Street towards Cinderella's Castle

4) Have you ever traveled to Disney solo? or would you?
I haven't, but I would

5) Are you an obsessive ADR maker (I know a few already-:rotfl:) or do you go with the flow?
I tend to be in-between obsessive & go with the flow (if there is such a thing :lmao:) -- for the most part, I know where we're going, but there are always a few that I tend to tinker with either based on the ADR time or if I start second-guessing based on recent reviews

6) Do you plan your park days based on EMH? If so, do you avoid them or go to them?
We do plan based on EMH and tend to avoid them

7) What is the best souvenir you have ever gotten from Disney?
I'm not big on souvenirs, but the best thing I ever bought was when they did the make your own rice crispy treats as a snack ceredit -- that was so yummy and lasted the whole way home

8) Do you book standard rooms or go for "the views"?
We book standard

9) Have you ever gotten a towel animal? If yes, what was your favorite and where did you stay?
We have gotten several -- my favorite was a pair of lovebirds that we got for our anniversary

10) What is your favorite character meal and why?

Breakfast @ Tusker House -- it's the only meal that my entire family agrees is a tradition that must be kept

We did an easter egg hunt too and my daughter was so happy and dancing and my son said, "no candy?" :confused3 But once we get there, I'm sure they'll be excited. Nothing beats the first time walking down main street at MK and hearing all the sounds and seeing the castle, that's when it really hits! Enjoy!:thumbsup2

I just pre-ordered my photopass CD. If you order before your trip you only pay $99.95, not $149.95.

Q. How do I get a Disney's PhotoPass card? Is there a charge?
A. You can get a card from any Disney's PhotoPass photographer. They can be found all around the Parks, and there is no charge to get the card or to have your picture taken in the Parks. Disney's Professional Portrait service in select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is available for an additional fee. Online registration is required to view and order photos.
Q. I'm traveling with a group. Can we get the same photo added to more than one card so we can each set up our own account?
A. Sure! Just tell your photographer and they'll be happy to scan your photos onto multiple cards. Note a Disney's PhotoPass I.D. number may only be claimed into one account.
Q. I heard the PhotoCD is a good deal. Is there a limit to the number of photos you can have on a PhotoCD?
A. No. Get as many photos taken as you want and you can have them all on a CD! The price is the same regardless of the number of photos in your account. Note that Disney's Gallery photos and any uploaded photos will not be included on your PhotoCD.
Q. Are the ride photos included on Disney's PhotoPass system?
A. With the exception of Test Track at Epcot®, no. On Test Track you can add your photo to your Disney's PhotoPass card as you exit the attraction.

A. Fill out our Lost Card/Photos form and our Guest Services team will be happy to help you try and locate your missing photos. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible!
Q. I ended up with more than one Disney's PhotoPass card. What do I do?
A. You can add the photos from all of your cards into one account. There are spaces to add multiple cards on the registration page as well as on the view and order photos page. Note a Disney's PhotoPass I.D. number may only be claimed into one account.

Q. Can I use my own photos on DisneyPhotoPass.com?
A. You bet! You can upload photos from your own camera to use in our photo products or to order prints. Note that uploaded photos follow the same storage policy as Disney's PhotoPass photos. You'll have 30 days from when you upload them to use them.
Q. Can I purchase JPEGS individually?
A. Yes, in addition to professional prints in various sizes, you can also now purchase Disney's Photo Downloads of your favorite photos.
Q. Are there any special deals?
A. We often do offer promotions on selected items. Click on the "Special Offers" tab at the top of any page for the latest.

Anyone have the "Official" Touring Plans crowd calendar predictions for the week of June 26? I didn't buy the touring guide this year so just curious as to what it says.

Thanks. It's exactly what I expected. Lol. Every year we go in the summer and I don't think I have ever seen a day less than 7 so the fact that one day is a 6 is exciting! :goodvibes Thanks again for sharing.

I think I'm driving my DH crazy with all my Disney talk!

I know what you mean. My husband is tired of the Disney talk. He likes Disney, but he doesn't want to hear about it 24 hours a day which is what it has been like lately.

SO...Our neighbors own DVC and they want to go in the fall for F&W and asked us to go with them. It is so nice of them to ask! Now, I am really considering it. How fun would it be to plan another Disney trip so soon after we get back?

AND... We just added an extra day to the end of our trip! I can't believe it. My husband said he really didn't want to go to Myrtle Beach on the way home and would rather have an extra Disney day and I am all for that so...one more day at the Contemporary. I am so excited.:banana::banana:

I just calculated ours. For 6 people, 10 days we are at $29.10 per hour or $4.86 per person per hour.

Hey everyone!!! We recently booked a last minute surprise trip to WDW for our 2 year anniversary!! We are so excited!! We are staying at Coronado Springs for 6 nights June 4th-June 10th! Lots of awesome ADR's and things we've never experienced before together. Our first Star Wars Weekend together, our first tea at Grand Floridian, doing must-do's off our lists in each park...can't wait!! :cool1::yay::woohoo:

How exciting! I was reading your TR and it was so cool!!!!!! We have similar Disney dates so I loved seeing your experiences!!! Thank you for sharing!

hahahaha... *insert evil laugh*

I have my hubby totally hooked.

We went for our first trip in October of last year...
We are going back in June of this year...

I was telling him about the YES program and how cheap the tickets were through that. What does he say? "Maybe we can go back again in the Fall and just get tickets through that for a quick trip, can we find a room only discount?"

Which brought up an interesting question... can you combine a room only discount with YES discounted tickets? I guess they are purchased through a different group?
:rolleyes1
