You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too? Yes it's one of everyones favs.

Love the Eeyore photo, my DW always makes a point on telling everyone how I made her wait 3 hours so I could have my picture with Tink!

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?
My 'fine dining' experience at WDW is pretty limited, we're character meal kind of people. I think my favorite meal was Boma!

Why was it the best?Large variety, wonderful flavors. Ribs to die for, the most amazing coconut tiramisu!

What did you eat?Ribs and Coconut Tiramisu. And some other stuff...but mostly ribs and coconut tiramisu :rotfl:

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time? We've never been disappointed (except I've never seen the coconut tiramisu again. I assume it's because I ate so much of it the first time, they decided it was not cost effective :rotfl2: )

Do you have photos? nope, not a one!

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too? Everyone loves it and it's always on our 'must do' list.

That's a good one too. Boma is our last dinner before we go home this year.

My Introduction Thread seemed to be missed, so here we go again:

I'm Cindi from MN and will be making my 10th trip to WDW in June!

We will be arriving in Orlando on June 12, and staying off property until June 17th.
We check in to Pop Century on June 17th (Our 5th anniversary!) and plan to head straight to MK. (Little nervous- I've never not been there at Opening!)

We have ADRs at Citricos the evening of the 17th.

June 18- Animal Kingdom
June 19th- Hollywood Studios
June 20th- Fly home!

Any advice is much needed! Cindi princess:

Hi Cindi welcome to the group. No Epcot this trip?

Have you Ordered your Free Customized Maps yet?
Walt Disney World's official website is offering free customized maps for your next trip! ...

I ordered these a few years ago & had them delivered to my parents while they were in Florida (like Canada, no delivery to the UK but we can print these out) ... unfortunately, I'd put "disney barbie" rather than my real name.. so the maps were printed with "The Barbie Family" on them rather than our surname!! :rotfl:

We're also going to tell the kids this weekend with an egg hunt. I found huge easter eggs and the creative disigns board made great signs & tickets to put inside them. I can't imagine what their reaction is going to be. I'm going to bust keeping our trip a secret! Just gotta hold it in a few more days....

sounds like a wonderful way to reveal the trip to you children.. let us know how it goes! :yay:

Less than 9 weeks until wedding & Disney now... WOW!! :cool1:

Hi Cindi welcome to the group. No Epcot this trip?

Not this time. We actually went in October with our 1 year old and my sister. We spent a lot of time at Epcot for Food and Wine, and conquered Future World with EMHs. Originally, we were only going to do 2 days at WDW, but I talked my DH into the 3rd so we could have one more day at the parks. :rotfl:

Just because I'm nosey, I wonder why Animal Kingdom, the Poly and Wildnerness Lodge have blackout dates? Think there are some big groups staying there those weeks? Hmmmm

I just saved 126.97 on my POR room and dining! this was on my part 2 the 3 nights at POR.:rotfl2: :cool1: On the phone person told me their was F2R also!

Someone did this for me on the resorts board, but the price didn't look right to me. Would one of you with access to the passholder site run my info through and post the rate?

june 2-12
Poly GV
2 adults, 3 kids
with dining plan

And then, Poly CL Garden view as well?

The rate given on the other board was actually better than what we have right now and I'm thinking that can't possibly be right.

Thanks in advance!

I am sorry. I didn't mean to miss your post yesterday. I was thinking. I need to ask specific dates but then forgot to get back to it last night.

When are you going to Citricos (time) so I can add it to the list on page 1?

We always do rope drop at MK. We love it. You should be fine. It's early and there are a lot of people but it is really fun to see rope drop especially if you have never seen it before. We always head to our favorite rides first and get them out of the way early. Welcome again! :yay:

anjalee6 I thought you ran away or was locked up by the tyranny of the day job.

No...didn't run away. We have spring break this week so no work for me. We took the kids out today to do some fun things. We went to the Maryland Science Center. The kids had a lot of fun but it was a LONG day. Since they got a nap in the car, I am ready for bed more than they are..

Wow, a lot can happen in a few days of not checking these boards! Unfortunately I don't have the time to read them all, but welcome all newcomers!

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World? We love Hoop-Dee-Doo, but we're doing Jiko this time and we think we'll really like it.

Why was it the best? Everything is delicious! Simplicity in some cases is the best!

What did you eat? Salad, cornbread, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and strawberry shortcake!

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time? If anything, it's better, they've upgraded to cornbread instead of rolls/bread.

Do you have photos? Of the performance, but we probably all know what that looks like.

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too? It was the real winner on the first trip, which was the only trip with everyone in the family.

OK question time, just to wake everyone up!
What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?Ohana

Why was it the best?No one complained and everyone ate something they normally wouldn't. DS(7) like learning the hula dance and the chairs were large enough for DS(4) to sleep in through the entire meal.

What did you eat?everything. My favorite was the salad, steak, shrimp, and chicken wings

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?We will find out when we go back this year

Do you have photos? No. I didn't actually think to take pictures, but I will now.

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?Everyone except for DS(4) b/c he slept the entire time. He doesn't even remember going there.
