ok, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on getting an ADR for something that's booked? Have any of you gotten ADRs for places that always book closer to your vacation? Do you just stalk the website every day? Multiple times a day? Call every day?
I really want Tusker House for breakfast and Ohana for dinner. Then everything would be perfect! :cutie:

I wish I would have known you were looking for 'Ohana for this trip! I too have been stalking Tusker breakfast (online) every hour or so... :rolleyes1
anyways, while I was staling the reservations screen, 'Ohana popped up TWICE (once 7:20, once 7:15PM on Sat 6/4) since I can't use it that date, I posted it everywhere I could think of (um, I forgot all about posting it here:guilty:) The MODs moved my post to the cancelled ADRs thread.

Moral of the story... KEEP TRYING. one more ADR and my list list be perfect too. :thumbsup2

Hi Anjalee! Do you - or anyone else here, have any photos of the pool bar? Haven't been able to find any good ones. How about reviews of the pool bar? We are used to the AKL pool bar, and I guess we have been spoiled there. It is really pretty and they have the nicest bartenders IMO of any resort! Last trip was our DD's Sweet Sixteen, and one of the bartenders actually bought (that's right, bought, from outside WDW, not a comp) her a gift at the end of our trip! The whole pool area at WL looks very lovely, so I assume it will be nice as well. Thanks! jane

Follow this link RIGHT HERE to my TR (the post about the pool)- it is PACKED with the most awesome pics of the pool/ kiddie pool/ pool area, etc... :goodvibes

I saw that in the cancellation thread, but it wouldn't have worked anyway. I might've made it work though :lmao: We're going to 50's PTC that night at 5:20, and then we're driving 1/2 way back home that night.

I'm gonna keep stalking though! I had kinda given up, but maybe as it gets closer the people that had been hanging out to more than 1 reservation are giving up the ones they don't want.

:cool1: I got a Tusker House ADR!

I just checked it last night, so it really does pay to stalk it all the time! Guess I have something to do for the next 58 days... Ohana here we come :rotfl:

You can update my ADRs, Tusker House at 8:05am on June 3rd :goodvibes

Can anyone suggest a good quick service dinner for DH and I for our date night? We have reservations for Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party at 9, earlier that day we have Playhouse Disney Breakfast @ Hollywood & Vine @8 am and a late lunch at Sci-Fi @ 2:30pm. We don't want anything really filling since we are planning on gorging ourselves w/dessert later. I was thinking about the sushi bar @ the poly. Has anyone been there? Do you need to make reservations for it? Can you get it to go? Is it any good?

Hey Everyone...

I am curious if June crowds are going to be lighter than usual, given the fact that Spring Break crowds have been lighter.

With the rising costs of gas and other products, it really wouldn't surprise me. I certainly don't wish for people to not be able to go, but I would love a lighter crowd! :littleangel:

One can hope the crowds are lighter! But I'm secretly wondering if the crowds are building up in mods and value resorts, which is why Disney is only offering a discount for deluxe.
Speaking of the discount, my party took advantage of it, and it saved us about $800-$1000, which we are extremely happy about.
So if you're staying at Deluxe and you haven't taken advantage of the discount, go now! If your room type is available, the CM are more than happy to apply it to your package!

so, I bit the bullet so to speak and added a day to our park tickets along with the water parks and more option.

so, not sure if I should be :cool1: or :scared1: that I am over planning, not leaving us enough time to just chill. But, this way I have the tickets and I don't have to take time to upgrade if we do use it.

Excited! but scared! LOL

Excited for you! It is fun to do the Water parks and more option. We have done it before but gave up on it last year simply because my kids like the parks better and really enjoy the pool at their age so we didn't make good use of the water parks. We also didn't use the "more" part. lol. I guess some people do like it when they want to be away from the parks for a little while.

I am debating adding another night to our package (on the front end).

We live in NC and it is about a 10-11 hour drive for us. Last time, we left around 6:00 p.m. and drove until 1:00 a.m., stayed in a budget hotel, then got up and drove the rest of the way that morning. We arrived around 11:00 a.m. and our room was already ready, so we dumped our stuff and hit the parks.

This time, we are leaving as soon as my son's awards ceremony at school is over (Noon at the latest).
We had the same plan, to drive several hours and spend the night half way, but now I am thinking we should just drive the whole way and stay on property that night. We have free dining, so even though we would be arriving too late to eat that night, that would give us 6 extra meals and 12 extra snacks total to use throughout the week...

I have uploaded a photo from Disney world. Can you tell me where in Disney World the photograph was taken?
