So. Hi there. I have a whole new ADR schedule. surprised?

Thursday 6/2
11:30AM Le Cellier
7:05PM Jiko

Friday 6/3
9:10AM Boma
5:45PM Citricos

Saturday 6/4
nothing yet... I'm working on it.
never give up, never give up, never give up

Sunday 6/5
12:30PM Raglan Road (this stayed the same)

Sorry. :flower3:

I did it, I became..... A RESORT CHANGER.

We couldn't get a discount on our BC ressie, so I switched to the Poly. So now we are staying at the Poly from 6/16-6/25 --with Deluxe Dining! Eventually I'll add my ADRs, I didn't want anyone to have to keep up w/ the bazillion changes I'm still making. I'll wait til I feel like plans are more firm. :)

Really need some input again. Earlier I had asked if having dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella would take some of the "magic" away from our next day at MK and our dinner at CRT. Pretty much everyone said yes, since this is our first time to wdw.
So my question now is would eating at Chef Mickey's be a "magic stealer" too?
It's the only day they have available and I would love experience it but it's the day we arrive & not sure if seeing Mickey would build the excitement or not? :confused3 What do you guys think?

if it is still open TAKE IT! :thumbsup2 this is much better than 1900 park fare for the first night. Still may be too much for an arrival day, but still, what better way to know you are at DISNEY than seeing the fab 5?

great replacement! :thumbsup2

I love starting the trip off with a character meal, I think it helps them get ready for a day in the parks. Go for it!:thumbsup2

I think this is a great idea. I don't think it's a magic stealer like 1900 before CRT. That is a whole different scenerio. I think that this is a great way to begin a Disney trip. If you can get the ADR, take it. :thumbsup2

No worries. I changed everything already. My only question was for 6-4 do I keep your current ADRs as in nothing yet to change or delete the current ADRs? Just LMK and I will do whatever. No big deal.

I love the container idea for the safety kit!
AWESOME! :banana:I usually end up putting stuff we need in a plastic bag but I love the idea of a "container". I'm going to see if I can find one small enough for everything to go in my suitcase!

My quoting reply is acting up so in the interest of saving time...thanks also for the great advice on the insurance piece and the Drop Box suggestion. I'm sorry to those of you who have lost your house/items in fires as well :lovestruc

Like others - I would definitely choose Chef Mickey's! I often read it's the best idea to do this at the very beginning of the trip that way the kids get to see Mickey and his friends and you're not spending days/hours tyring to "track him" down. It's a great introduction! :thumbsup2

We're down to 69 days! :banana::banana::banana:

With my experience, I don't think it would be a magic stealer. Granted, with the new Mickey meet and greet, it's easier to meet Mickey, but Chef Mickeys is a great place to see all your favorites right when you get to Disney, and its basically a segway into the rest of your stay at Disney. I definitely think it would excitement, but of course, that's just my opinion.

SWEET! I will be at ASMu with my DD then too, although I switch over to CBR on friday.

heh, nice to meet you too, and I hope you have fun reading the old posts!

other tips are: baby care centers in the parks: USE THEM! I didn't know they existed, and wish I had. Remember that this year, that 1 year old is free, on the plane if you keep them as a lap baby, and in Disney. so, really it is worth it, as it is costing you nothing 'extra' to take him/her along too! well other than your time, that you give them anyway! :thumbsup2

YAY!!! Great to meet you as well! We actually used the baby care centers a long time ago when we took our first family trip and our youngest (DS) was two. He was still wearing pull-ups, so I utilized the care centers somewhat often!

Maybe we will bump into you and your daughter at the hotel or on the buses!:thumbsup2

Welcome, we took our 1 year old Aiden to Disney and loved it. The older kids did not think they would like the trip because of the baby, but it did not turn out that way. We got fast-passes for the rides and the older kids took turns riding with Lisa and I, so they got to ride twice. Also the photos we have at WDW of Aiden are priceless!

Adorable pictures!!! Thanks for sharing them with me! That just makes me feel better about taking our 1 year DD. DH was just saying last night, "What if she's fussy like she was today for several hours while we are there?" I just told him to quit worrying over stuff. She's teething - that part will be over soon once those darn front teeth come in!

Welcome to the June board! We are a great group if I do say so myself. :thumbsup2 I added your information to the list on page 1 as well.

Let's see... As far as tips for taking a one year old. We have taken my daughter three times already..all before she turned 2.
1) Visit the baby centers often to change diapers, eat snacks, and just be out of the heat for a little while.
2) Take naps at the hotel in the afternoon for everyone's sanity.
3) Pack little snacks for your child to take with you into the parks especially when waiting in line.
4) Make sure you do a few rides at a time and take advantage of the play areas so they can get down and walk/move around a little.
5) Make sure to use Rider Swap so you can go on all the rides and not have to wait as long.

Thanks for the advice!!! We never used rider swap in the past. For our first family trip, we didn't do too much research and just winged it. Now, after four trips, we are considering ourselves Disney Apprentices!!! LOL!! :rotfl2:

I cancelled them all for 6/4... we currently have none. I'm holding out for Tusker House (breakfast).

I saw your post about going to Raglan Road. Is it good? We haven't been there before and I made ADR's for our next trip. We love trying a new place every time we go!:)

OMG... to DIE for!!! I would NEVER plan a vacation to WDW without at least one ADR at Raglan Road. This time we're trying lunch, last time we had dinner. The bread-n-butter pudding is reason enough to go back!!! (better than 'Ohana IMHO) If you'd like to see some food photos from there, I did a mini review in my TR from last year. I sectioned out that post for you so you wouldn't have to read through the whole trip to find it... :goodvibes

Our night at Raglan Road, AUG 2010

Don't miss a chance to book an ADR here! The food is amazing! Note: the only reason I didn't care for my "It's not bleedin' chowder" was that I hate salmon. I can't remember... did you also ask about WCC at some point? I have a review from there too in part one of the same TR. :thumbsup2 Hoped I've helped some. -Stace

I have a tusker house that I'm going to cancel, it's sometime between the 5th and the 10th. If that would work for you, PM me so we can coordinate my cancelling.

Awww! Thank you SO MUCH, but we're leaving the morning of the 5th to head to "the dark side" for 4 more nights. So kind of you though!

Loved the pictures of Raglan Road! I am really looking forward to it now! I did find your review on WCC and we may just pass on it. I hear that it's a fun place to eat, but my DH is very particular about his bar-b-que! We are Texans and bar-b-que is a very important dish here, at least it is for DH!!! LOL!!! :lmao:

We are at 68 days and now I'm starting to get excited. :goodvibes Got our taxi rides set up, our ADRs (we don't have that many:rotfl:) and our schedule planned. Now just need to get our amtrak tickets. Dsis I'm sure will start packing soon.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today I bought our sun lotion & after-sun (it was half price in the supermarket lol) .. and some US Dollars from the bureau de change (guess that's part of the vacation planning most of you guys don't need to do!?)

It's 11 weeks til wedding which means 11 weeks & 2 days til Disney... eeeeeeep! :woohoo:
