well, we just told our kids. :) Got dh on skype and teased them a little with clues. They were totally floored that we are going in J une since ds will still be in school and my rule has always be "no removal from school for vacation!" but since DH will just be coming home, AND the prices were too good to pass up, I am willing to make an exception this one time. ;)

Are they excited? My kids are so excited. They see me planning so much that I would never be able to keep it a secret. The only thing that is a secret is the fact that my mom, aunt, and possibly other family members are coming too. My side of the family has always been nuts over Disney. My husband's family is so different. I don't know if I could go to Disney with them. There might be too much complaining.

they were completely shocked. I just couldn't stand to not tell them.

My family has come with us on every other trip - post kids - so it will be odd not to have anyone with us this time. That's the first thing the kids said ...are Grandma and Granddad coming? Uncles?..Aunts? My husabnd's family is the same - they have no love of Disney and dh's sister has gone once and remarked "I don't know why anyone would go there more than once" - course, she the person who tried to squeeze in all of disney PLUS universal and sea world...into 7 days. And didn't want any advice. :confused3 To each their own I guess.

I have friends also going this same time (she's who told me about the super cheap airfare) and she also doesn't want to plan. My mouth is closed because some people think "plan" means commando, and to me plan means stress free.

My parents have a time share and stayed a yr ago this past Jan and LOVED it...can't wait.
We will be the ones that have the kids with the towels that look like old Mickey Mouse club shirts with then kids names on then and mickey ear hoods! My mom makes them for the kids:laughing: of course not sure the teenagers are going to wear them this time around

I am looking forward to BC. We were originally going to stay on property but as a family of 5 we just cannot share one bathroom and the villas were just too much out of our price range. We are paying less for a week at BC in a 2 bdrm than we would in a value resort. With the extra room we talked my mil in to joining us. She is 68 and never been to the World. We are definitely looking forward to taking advantage of the awesome pool everyday.

So Mary is Tangled good enough that I should buy it even if I've never seen it and the kids haven't seen it?

And of course, anyone else can give their thoughts and opinions too.

For those of you that have booked the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party, did you book online or over the phone? The reason I ask is b/c I called yesterday and to make a reservation and they told me they had ony extended booking until May 31st. That it hadn't opened up yet for June. Looks like I'm going to have to call back again today.:confused3

I didn't book a Wishes dessert party for myself, but I have entered it quite a few times on our list of ADRs so I know people have done it. I know they were all for early June, but they are still booked. I would call again today.
