The new floors are beautiful!

Here's another. It's located inside the Southern doors behind the Grand staircase:

Here's the seating area that was located where the band was traditionally located. I love this seating area and hope it is permanent. A GF CM told me they are waiting for the new bandstand to be delivered. In the meantime there were two schools of thought. Some managers like the band in its original location and others prefer it in the temporary spot near the entrance to the monorail. I can see both sides of that debate.

Has anyone been there recently? Is the band still located near the monorail?

I never thought I would be so interested in floors.
They look beautiful. I can't wait till my December trip so I can check them out. I only have one night at GF this trip, so I am only going over to MK to pick-up my AP and then heading strait back to GF to soak up the Holiday atmosphere.

Hmm I never thought about the band being over by the monorail station. I kind of like that idea. As soon as you come in the GF you'll know that you are in a special resort with the band playing as you come in.

It was still on the monorail side as of a week and a half ago. I like the seating area too, but I wonder if you can still hear the band in Mizners?

We arrive on the 15th of the month. We just changed our room from the POLY to here. My sister is a cast member and you wouldn't believe the low rate she got us!

Yes, although the band would also block the view of the lobby a bit, too. The CM I talked to thought in the end, the band would end up in the traditional spot since the marble in that area has no designs in it.
