Just 3 more days, and a college friend and I will be checking into the Grand Floridian! First stay there for both of us. This is a girls trip to celebrate turning 50 with Mickey. So, so excited!
Just a good word here for IPO. We're staying Sugar Loaf from 12/19-12/28, and they emailed me this morning at 6:30 a.m. with my dining reservations!
There were two errors, which they promptly fixed--and we got everything (including Le Cellier for the CP package third show on 12/23) within a few minutes of my requested times. We're a party of 5, and we had no problems at all with anything.
This is my first time staying club level, and I have to say that I'm starting to get spoiled. It's nice not to have to sit on hold forever waiting for the dining CMs...
Well My dad, mom, and I are leaving in 4 days to Disney and are staying at the GF! And I have to ask this before I forget, don't you have to go through the MK parking lot gate? How does that process work? I hope we don't have to pay when we just need to go to our resort![]()
You just tell them at the booth that you are checking in at the GF and they will direct you. You don't pay any fee. When you get to the resort and check in, they will give you a parking pass for your car, so you should never have to pay a fee going through the gate.
You can call and request that building if you like it...it's not guaranteed, but they are usually good about trying to get you where you want to be...![]()
Although we have always previously relied on the Disney bus system I was wondering about other options. This is our first stay at the GF. How easy is it to get a taxi from the GF? How long does it take and how much does it cost to get to the parks, etc? (e.g., AK, DHS, DTD)
thanks for the help
