Loralie - I'm pretty sure that you and I had a nice conversation by the beach pool on your day of check-in. Glad to hear that your vacation went well and that you loved the resort as much as I did.
I am eventually going to try to post some pics, just not sure how yet!!

Yes I remember talking to you by the pool on my check in day. We had a great trip even though it rained more than we would have liked. You have a lovely family, can't wait to see your pics.

Narcoossees was great both times as was citricos and park fare and gaspies, but the GF cafe was eh this time. waitress just ok...meat asked to be medium well, it was BURNT. DH got the burger well done, also burnt, like, taste the charcol burnt. but the mashed potatoes were oh so good.

heatherlynn444 - Your pictures are breathtaking. We have stayed in 4404 many times and just love that room. My parents were right next door in 4403 for their first trip in Dec. 2006. Seeing the pic's of RPC made me cry as I really want to be there. Thanks so much for sharing.

I mostly lurk but I had to come out say Great pics keep'em coming.....you were in my fav room(my first stay in that room was in Jan 1994 and my last was Oct. 2007) out of all my stay at the GF and other on site resorts that is the ONLY room number I remembered

And I especially want to thank you for taking the photos of the food offerings in RPC -- that gives me a good idea of what they have up there and what I need to order to supplement our breakfast.

love the pics! Thanks for sharing....it's been far too long since our awesome stay, I have had GF booked so many times , esp when I get a code....then I retreat and return to a DVC resort! lol

so, we just returned from BCV..and I receive another code....so, I AM going to utilize it for my Sept trip!!!!!

I just c hanged my ressie from GV to MKV because I got a 40% off code for November!!

Can you please tell me what building you were in?

Also............. can anyone tell me which building I might request for a MKV?? Any preferences or experiences with a specific building??? What about floors? Should i request a higher floor??

In April 2008 we stayed in Boca Chica on the second floor....rm 8207 it had a great MK view and then we moved to RPC room 4401 also a great MK view...It was an awesome trip!

Here is the view from room 8207.. you could here some of the boat traffic but it wasn't very loud when the door was closed. You could easily see the fireworks every night!

The food offerings have changed recently.The food was still plentiful and a good selection. They have added new things, it was something different every night. No gray meat on a stick to be seen. The only cut back I noticed was the desserts. There was plenty but not as much variety. Oh and no Baileys. There was still several different cordials and some wine.

I just came back on May 24th and I was also very sad to see that they no longer offer Bailey's at the RPC

we were in the main building, royal palm club concierge. MK views can be requested but not guaranteed



we ate at narcoossees twice, citricos, GF cafe, gasparillas, and 1900 park fare...geee...thats all but V & A!!!



we were in the main building, RPC. I was bookingt he ressies for my whole family and I guess we just got lucky. most kids were still in school so the hotel itself wasn't that crowded from what i saw.

Wow you are very lucky!! I contacted IPO and asked about getting this and felt like I was bothering them. We have 4 rooms booked for December but there are not eight of us so we are not a grand gathering.

IPO can be really soso. for instance we got the 3 rooms togehter, but I also told them it was my usbands bday celebration ad she asked me what his favorite character was etc. and said she would have them do something for him and nothing. I mean, its ok, I know its not guaranteed or anything, just funny how they come throgh sometimes and sometimes dont! more pics coming up! glad everyone is enjoying them!

my parents were in 4405 from wednesday the 27th through monday the 1st. they checked out very early monday morning. it was weird after they left not being able to have the adjoining door open!
